Tailor your background to NVIDIA's BD scope
NVIDIA's Business Development team focuses on AI, data center, and semiconductor ecosystem partnerships. Frame your experience around technical sales, go-to-market strategy, or partner enablement in these verticals rather than general business development.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open BD roles
NVIDIA posts Business Development positions across multiple teams and regions, making it hard to track which roles are actively sponsoring. Use Migrate Mate to filter NVIDIA openings by visa type and role function so you're applying to the right positions.
Prepare an LCA-ready offer negotiation strategy
Before your offer stage, research the prevailing wage level for Business Development roles in NVIDIA's operating locations through DOL's wage data. Understanding wage tiers helps you negotiate confidently without creating friction around the Labor Condition Application process.
Align your specialty occupation narrative early
USCIS requires H-1B roles to qualify as specialty occupations. For Business Development at a semiconductor company, document how your role demands a specific degree in engineering, computer science, or business strategy, not just general commercial skills.

Find Business Development at NVIDIA JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does NVIDIA sponsor H-1B visas for Business Developments?
Yes, NVIDIA sponsors H-1B visas for Business Development roles. The H-1B requires your position to qualify as a specialty occupation, which NVIDIA's BD roles typically satisfy given the technical depth involved in AI, data center, and semiconductor partnerships. Applications are subject to the annual cap and lottery, so timing your offer around the April filing window matters.
How do I apply for Business Development jobs at NVIDIA?
Applications go through NVIDIA's careers portal, where Business Development roles are listed by team and region. Migrate Mate aggregates NVIDIA's open BD positions filtered by visa sponsorship type, so you can identify which roles align with your visa situation before applying. Tailor your resume to emphasize technical ecosystem knowledge, partner strategy, or enterprise sales relevant to NVIDIA's product lines.
Which visa types does NVIDIA commonly sponsor for Business Development roles?
NVIDIA sponsors H-1B, E-3, and Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3 for Business Development professionals. Australian citizens should prioritize the E-3 route since it avoids the H-1B lottery and allows renewable two-year periods. For long-term permanent residence, NVIDIA initiates PERM labor certification for eligible BD employees after they establish a track record in the role.
What qualifications does NVIDIA expect for Business Development roles?
NVIDIA's Business Development positions generally require a bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, business, or a related technical field. Roles focused on AI infrastructure or data center partnerships often favor candidates with prior experience in enterprise software, semiconductor sales, or cloud go-to-market strategy. For H-1B and E-3 eligibility, your degree must clearly connect to the specific responsibilities of the role.
How do I think about timing the sponsorship process for a BD role at NVIDIA?
If you need an H-1B, NVIDIA must file your petition in April for an October start date, meaning an offer typically needs to be in place by late February or early March. E-3 applicants face fewer timing constraints since there's no lottery and appointments at Australian consulates currently run two to six weeks out. Green Card sponsorship through PERM adds a multi-year runway on top of your initial visa period.
