SCOPE
The scope of work includes maintenance and bug fixes, as well as enhancements to the database to accommodate recent advances in program processes.
The feature enhancements or fixes will include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Maintenance and operability of RTS system, until the transition or decommission.
- Work with the Office of Agriculture Technology (OATS) within the Department to enhance the interface to the OnBase document management system from RTS through a WebService created by FDACS.
All work will be coordinated and supervised by the database owner or their designee. The contractor will adhere to all Department rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
SKILLS
To accomplish the work outlined above, FDACS requires an experienced systems software programmer with the following skills and experiences listed below. This list is not exhaustive; nor are all skills required. Technical Skills, written and verbal communication, and experiences will be the basis for evaluation of responses to the RFQ.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with Oracle WebForm
- Minimum 5 years of experience in programming in Toad or SQL+
- Demonstrated experience with object-oriented development techniques is required
- Experience working in a multi-development group is required
- Demonstrated 3 years of experience working with RTS application components is required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and user staff.
