The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all. Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Salesforce is seeking a Lead in Workforce Intelligence focused on Insight Strategy & Design. This is a strategic individual contributor (IC) role responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of workforce analytics across HR domains (e.g. talent, org health, and employee experience). You'll combine strong analytical skills, Tableau expertise, and experience with AI and agentic tools to deliver clear, actionable insights to senior leaders, and help shape how those insights are built and delivered as our capabilities evolve.
Core Responsibilities
- Agentic Implementation & Productionalization: Design and implement agentic analytical experiences, including Agentforce agents and Slack, that deliver proactive workforce insights in the flow of work. Partner with engineering to move from prototype to production, managing data model requirements, testing, and iteration cycles.
- Analysis & Interpretation: Conduct workforce analysis - forming hypotheses, identifying root causes, and quantifying business implications. Connect data across HR domains (e.g. talent growth & development, org health, employee experience) to inform specific leadership actions.
- Analytics Product Development: Evolve and maintain insights embedded in Tableau and Agentforce products, used by leaders globally. Manage data validation, quality assurance, and metric iterations for workforce signals. Incorporate AI-augmented approaches where they accelerate rigor and speed.
- Insight Strategy & Design: Apply user-centered design principles to data. Develop narratives and interfaces that translate technical signals into clear, actionable insights for functional leaders.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with HR Product, Data Engineering, and partner data teams to align strategies, proactively remove technical and organizational blockers, and ensure the insights roadmap stays on track.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, I/O Psychology).
- People Analytics Experience: 5+ years in people/workforce analytics with a proven track record of delivering insights to senior leaders, presenting complex data and fielding difficult questions.
- AI & Design Mindset: Comfortable experimenting with tools like AI coding assistants, prompt engineering, and agentic frameworks, and motivated to bring what works into the analytics development lifecycle.
- Technical Expertise: Familiarity with AI coding assistants (e.g., Cursor, Codex, Claude Code) and agentic frameworks. Strong proficiency in SQL, Tableau, and HR data modeling. Proven ability to lead the full analytical product lifecycle, delivering integrated data solutions and actionable visualizations.
- Analytical & Statistical Rigor: Proven ability to conduct sophisticated analyses, test hypotheses, and quantify business impact. Experience in communicating statistical concepts to non-technical audiences, with a preference for experience in predictive modeling and experimentation.
- Influence & Collaboration: Proven ability to navigate a matrixed environment, collaborate cross-functionally, and translate technical complexity into clear business value.
- Communication & Storytelling: Exceptional written and verbal communication, crafting data-driven narratives that persuade and move senior leaders to action with a clear “so what?”.
- Autonomy: Proven ability to operate with moderate autonomy, handling day-to-day projects independently while seeking guidance for high-level strategy and prioritization.

Target roles in Salesforce's core cloud and engineering divisions
Salesforce's sponsorship activity is concentrated in technical and enterprise software roles. Focus your applications on software engineering, solutions architecture, and product management positions, where the company has a consistent history of supporting international candidates.
Understand which visa types Salesforce actively supports
Salesforce sponsors H-1B, E-3, and immigrant visa pathways including Green Cards. If you're an Australian citizen, the E-3 is worth highlighting in conversations with recruiters, as Salesforce has demonstrated willingness to support it.
Engage Salesforce's recruiting pipeline early in the cycle
For H-1B sponsorship, timing matters. Salesforce typically runs structured hiring cycles tied to the April H-1B cap filing window. Engaging recruiters by January or February improves your chances of being included in that year's filings.
Use Migrate Mate to confirm Salesforce's real sponsorship history
Don't rely on job listings alone to verify sponsorship willingness. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsor data so you can confirm Salesforce's track record across visa types before investing time in the application process.
Highlight enterprise or SaaS experience in your application
Salesforce operates in the enterprise software and cloud services space. Candidates who can demonstrate experience with CRM systems, large-scale deployments, or B2B software environments align closely with the roles Salesforce most actively sponsors.
Prepare for a multi-stage interview process before sponsorship conversations
Salesforce typically conducts several interview rounds before extending an offer. Sponsorship discussions usually happen at the offer stage, so come prepared with your visa status, authorization timeline, and any cap or lottery considerations relevant to your situation.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Salesforce sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Salesforce sponsors H-1B visas and is considered one of the more active sponsors among U.S. technology employers. The company files H-1B petitions across a range of technical and corporate roles. If you're targeting an H-1B, focus on roles in software engineering, solutions consulting, and product development, where sponsorship is most common.
What visa types does Salesforce sponsor?
Salesforce sponsors H-1B visas for specialty occupation roles, E-3 visas for eligible Australian citizens, and immigrant visa pathways including EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards. The Green Card pathway is particularly active, reflecting Salesforce's investment in retaining international talent long-term rather than just short-term work authorization.
Which departments or roles at Salesforce are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at Salesforce is most common in technical roles such as software engineering, data engineering, cloud architecture, and technical program management. Sales engineering and solutions architecture positions also see sponsorship activity. Roles requiring highly specialized skills in Salesforce's core platform areas tend to have the strongest sponsorship precedent.
How do I find open visa-sponsored jobs at Salesforce?
Migrate Mate lists open roles at verified sponsors including Salesforce, filtered by visa type so you can see which positions align with your work authorization needs. This removes the guesswork of identifying which employers actually sponsor, so you can focus your applications where your status is genuinely supported.
How do I approach the sponsorship conversation during the Salesforce interview process?
At Salesforce, visa sponsorship is typically confirmed at the offer stage rather than during early screening. It's best to be upfront about your status on any application form rather than raising it mid-process. If you're on OPT with a limited runway, mention your timeline proactively so the recruiting team can plan the H-1B petition filing accordingly.
