Align your portfolio to client-facing analytics work
Tiger Analytics staffs data engineers on client engagements across financial services, retail, and healthcare. Projects demonstrating pipeline architecture, dbt modeling, or cloud warehouse optimization on real business data are more compelling than academic or personal projects.
Start CPT or OPT authorization before your offer
If you're on F-1 status, confirm your Designated School Official approves CPT or activates OPT before your intended start date. Tiger Analytics hires on rolling timelines, so having authorization ready prevents offer delays caused by USCIS processing backlogs.
Target roles tied to long-term client contracts
H-1B sponsorship requires an employer to demonstrate a bona fide specialty occupation need. At a consulting firm like Tiger Analytics, roles attached to multi-year client engagements carry stronger sponsorship justification than short-term project placements when USCIS reviews the petition.
Clarify the LCA wage level during offer negotiation
DOL Labor Condition Applications classify workers at wage levels one through four. For Data Analytics Engineers, level two or three is common at consulting firms. Confirming which level your offer uses helps you verify the prevailing wage certification matches your actual responsibilities.
Track Tiger Analytics Data Analytics Engineer openings on Migrate Mate
New roles open frequently as client engagements scale up. Use Migrate Mate to filter Tiger Analytics Data Analytics Engineer listings by visa type so you apply only to sponsorship-confirmed postings and avoid wasting time on roles that exclude international candidates.
Prepare for a EB-2 or EB-3 PERM timeline early
Consulting firms that sponsor Green Cards typically begin PERM labor certification after you've held the role for one year. Gathering transcripts, degree evaluations for foreign credentials, and employment history documentation before that window opens keeps the process from stalling later.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Tiger Analytics sponsor H-1B visas for Data Analytics Engineers?
Yes, Tiger Analytics sponsors H-1B visas for Data Analytics Engineers. The company participates in the annual H-1B cap lottery and files petitions for qualifying candidates in specialty occupation roles. Because Tiger Analytics operates as a consulting firm, your petition will reference the specific client engagement and project scope to satisfy USCIS specialty occupation requirements for the role.
Which visa types does Tiger Analytics commonly use for Data Analytics Engineer roles?
Tiger Analytics sponsors H-1B visas as the primary work authorization path for Data Analytics Engineers. The company also hires candidates on F-1 OPT and CPT, which bridge status before H-1B approval. For candidates pursuing permanent residence, Tiger Analytics supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways through PERM labor certification filed with the DOL after a qualifying employment period.
How do I apply for Data Analytics Engineer jobs at Tiger Analytics?
Browse current Data Analytics Engineer openings at Tiger Analytics on Migrate Mate, where listings are filtered to show roles that confirm visa sponsorship. When you apply, tailor your resume to reflect data pipeline development, SQL, cloud platforms, and any analytics tools relevant to the specific posting. Tiger Analytics typically screens for technical fit before moving to a multi-round interview process covering both technical and client-facing communication skills.
What qualifications and experience does Tiger Analytics expect for Data Analytics Engineers?
Tiger Analytics generally expects a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems, statistics, or a closely related field. For Data Analytics Engineers, hands-on experience with SQL, Python, cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake or BigQuery, and pipeline orchestration tools is expected. Consulting experience or a background working on cross-functional client projects strengthens your application, as engineers often work directly with enterprise stakeholders.
How do I time my application to align with the H-1B filing process at Tiger Analytics?
H-1B cap petitions are filed each April 1 for an October 1 start date, with USCIS lottery registration opening in mid-March. To be included, you need a signed offer and a completed I-129 petition before the registration window closes. If you're targeting Tiger Analytics for H-1B sponsorship, begin conversations with their recruiting team no later than January or February to allow time for internal approvals and LCA certification with the DOL before the registration deadline.
