About The Role
As a Field Operator, you will serve as Traba's in-market operational hands — focused on recruiting, onboarding, and preparing workers for placement across the market. Rather than being anchored to a single customer, you'll support the broader market and may interact with multiple customer sites as volume and coverage needs dictate. You'll be the local face of Traba to our workforce: building community partnerships, running onboarding sessions, and making sure every worker is vetted, prepared, and ready to succeed on their first shift. This role requires professionalism, bilingual communication, strong recruiting instincts, and the flexibility to flex across worker funnel needs in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Worker Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with workers across the market — owning the experience from recruiting through placement and providing timely updates, feedback, and support.
- Community & Partner Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with workforce centers, community organizations, and local partners to drive worker pipeline and brand presence in the market.
- Worker Vetting & Onboarding: Oversee worker vetting, drug testing, and onboarding end-to-end, including running large group onboarding sessions when volume calls for it.
- Worker Funnel Management: Manage the full worker funnel — sourcing, screening, scheduling, and converting applicants into placement-ready workers.
- New Start Scheduling: Coordinate interviews and start schedules for new hires across customer sites, ensuring workers are matched to the right opportunities at the right time.
- PPE & On-Site Support: Distribute and manage PPE, and provide on-site presence at customer facilities as needed to support new starts, escalations, or peak coverage.
- Communication & Reporting: Maintain consistent, proactive feedback loops with Traba HQ — flagging market trends, funnel issues, or coverage risks early.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) required.
- 1–2+ years of experience in operations or customer-facing environments, including but not limited to: staffing, manufacturing, warehouse, retail, food service, teaching, or on-site coordination.
- Strong recruiting instincts and the ability to source, screen, and convert candidates.
- Comfortable running large group onboarding sessions and presenting in front of workers.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills (email and in-person).
- Professional demeanor and ability to represent Traba with workers, partners, and client stakeholders.
- Flexible and adaptable — able to shift priorities and locations as market needs evolve.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and a proactive problem solver.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, dynamic warehouse and field environments.
Compensation
Competitive hourly base pay plus performance-based incentives tied to worker onboarding and successful placements.

Target roles in Traba's core tech functions
Traba's sponsorship activity is concentrated in software engineering, product, and data roles. Focus your application on positions where specialized technical skills and a qualifying degree are clear requirements, not just preferences, to strengthen your eligibility case.
Understand which visa types Traba supports
Traba sponsors H-1B, H-1B1 visa, TN, and F-1 OPT and CPT, along with Green Card pathways. Knowing which category fits your situation before you apply lets you ask the right questions during early recruiter conversations.
Use OPT or CPT as a foot in the door
If you're on F-1 status, Traba's support for OPT and CPT creates a real pathway to longer-term sponsorship. Starting in a CPT or OPT role gives you time to demonstrate value before the H-1B lottery cycle comes around.
Prepare for the H-1B lottery timeline early
H-1B registrations open in March for an October start date. If you're targeting Traba for H-1B sponsorship, align your job search and offer timeline so the employer can register you well before the window closes.
Ask about Green Card sponsorship during negotiations
Traba has a track record of supporting permanent residence pathways. When evaluating an offer, it's reasonable to ask whether the company initiates PERM labor certification and what the typical timeline looks like for your role level.
Filter for verified sponsors before you apply
Not every tech company that looks promising actually sponsors visas consistently. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and focus your energy on companies like Traba with confirmed track records.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Traba sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Traba sponsors H-1B visas. The company also supports H-1B1 visa status for Chilean and Singaporean nationals, which provides an alternative to the H-1B lottery. Sponsorship is typically concentrated in technical and product roles where a specialized degree requirement is clearly defined. If you're targeting Traba for H-1B visa sponsorship, engaging with recruiters early in the hiring cycle gives you the best chance of aligning with the March registration window.
What visa types does Traba sponsor?
Traba sponsors a range of visa categories including H-1B, H-1B1 visa, TN visa, F-1 OPT, and F-1 CPT for work authorization, along with EB-2 and EB-3 pathways for permanent residence. This breadth makes Traba a practical option for international candidates at different stages of their U.S. immigration journey, whether you're starting on OPT or looking for a company that supports long-term Green Card sponsorship.
Which roles at Traba are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Visa sponsorship at Traba tends to be concentrated in software engineering, data, and product roles where a qualifying bachelor's or advanced degree in a specific field is a genuine job requirement. Operations and support roles may be less likely to qualify for H-1B sponsorship if the position doesn't meet the specialty occupation standard. Reviewing the job description carefully for degree requirements is the clearest indicator of sponsorship likelihood.
How do I find open sponsored jobs at Traba?
Migrate Mate is the most direct way to find visa-sponsored roles at companies like Traba. It filters job listings by confirmed sponsorship history, so you're not wasting time on postings that won't lead to a visa. Search Traba specifically on Migrate Mate to see current openings alongside verified sponsorship data before you apply.
How do I approach the application process at Traba as an international candidate?
Be transparent about your visa status early, ideally in the recruiter screening call rather than later in the process. Traba's experience with multiple visa categories means the recruiting team is generally familiar with work authorization requirements. Come prepared to explain your current status, your authorization timeline, and which visa pathway applies to your situation. If you're on OPT with limited time remaining, flag that upfront so both sides can assess fit quickly.
