Target operations and supply chain roles
Tyson Foods' sponsorship activity is concentrated in its core food manufacturing and supply chain operations. Engineering, quality assurance, and operations management roles are among the most likely to come with permanent residency support, prioritize these when applying.
Understand which visa types Tyson supports
Tyson Foods focuses on Green Card sponsorship pathways, specifically EB-2 and EB-3, along with F-1 OPT and CPT and TN visas. If you're seeking H-1B sponsorship, Tyson is not a match. Align your expectations with the visa types they actually support.
F-1 students should target OPT and CPT opportunities
Tyson actively hires F-1 students through OPT and CPT programs. If you're completing a degree in food science, engineering, supply chain, or business, targeting Tyson internships and new-grad roles is a practical way into the company's sponsorship pipeline.
Canadian and Mexican professionals should consider the TN pathway
Tyson sponsors TN visas, making it accessible to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying professional roles. If your occupation falls under USMCA TN categories, such as engineer, accountant, or scientist, this is a faster entry point than waiting for Green Card processing.
Position yourself for EB-3 sponsorship in skilled roles
Tyson's Green Card activity includes EB-3 sponsorship, which covers skilled workers in roles requiring at least two years of training or experience. If you're in food manufacturing, technical operations, or a similar field, EB-3 may be a realistic long-term pathway at Tyson.
Browse Tyson's open roles through verified sponsorship data
Tyson Foods has a consistent sponsorship track record worth exploring if you need work authorization. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and find Tyson openings matched to your visa situation.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Tyson Foods sponsor H-1B visas?
No, Tyson Foods does not have a track record of H-1B visa sponsorship. The company's visa activity is focused on permanent residency through EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways, along with F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and TN visas. Candidates who specifically need H-1B visa sponsorship should look elsewhere, as Tyson's immigration support does not currently include that category.
What visa types does Tyson Foods sponsor?
Tyson Foods sponsors EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and TN visas. The company's sponsorship is primarily oriented toward permanent residency pathways, which is less common among large employers. TN visas make Tyson accessible to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying roles without the H-1B lottery.
Which departments or roles at Tyson Foods are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at Tyson Foods tends to follow its core business, food manufacturing, engineering, quality assurance, supply chain, and operations management. Technical and professional roles within these functions are the most likely candidates for Green Card support. Corporate functions such as finance, accounting, and IT may also see sponsorship, particularly for TN-eligible candidates.
How do I find open roles at Tyson Foods that include visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is the most efficient way to find Tyson Foods jobs with confirmed sponsorship history. Unlike general job boards, Migrate Mate filters by verified visa sponsorship data, so you can see Tyson's active openings alongside the specific visa types they've historically supported, saving time and reducing uncertainty in your job search.
How do I know if Tyson Foods will sponsor my specific visa situation?
The best approach is to apply for roles that align with Tyson's documented sponsorship history, EB-2, EB-3, TN, OPT, or CPT. During the interview process, ask directly about immigration support for your visa type. Tyson's HR and legal teams handle sponsorship decisions on a role-by-role basis, so early clarity on your situation during the hiring process is important.
