About the role:
Whop is building institution-grade financial infrastructure for the next generation of digital entrepreneurship. We're hiring a sales rep to expand Whop into the Brazilian market - onboarding the fastest-growing digital businesses onto Whop Payments Network. You'll sell our payments rails and get businesses to use Whop for both pay-ins and payouts. This role will report to the Head of Partnerships.
Scope
Onboard businesses doing < $25M/yr in revenue across the Brazilian market.
- Own the end-to-end deal cycle from sourcing the first call to deal being live on platform generating revenue.
- Responsible for sourcing & prospecting leads within Brazil's digital business ecosystem - paid communities, coaching & courses, agencies, info products, and more.
- Willing to travel anywhere in Brazil (and beyond) to meet with prospective customers.
- Focus on one segment to onboard as much GMV/GP as possible.
- Work closely with product to ensure we're building for the needs of Brazilian creators and businesses.
- Be Whop's eyes and ears in Brazil - surfacing market insights, competitive dynamics, and localization needs back to the team.
What We're Looking For
- Cracked
- Track record of building internet businesses - bonus if you've done it within the Brazilian creator/digital products ecosystem
- Native or fluent Portuguese speaker with strong English proficiency
- Deep understanding of Brazil's digital business landscape - you know who the big creators are, which platforms they use, and where the market is headed
- Prev sales experience is nice but not a requirement
- Extremely curious & personable

- Within 90 days, you will have closed $3M in total GMV, ready for bigger deals.
