ABOUT THE TEAM
At Zillow, our mission is to give people the power to unlock life’s next chapter. Our Sales, Success, and Support teams—known as Frontline operators—are essential to delivering this mission to our professional partners, and the Frontline Products team builds the technology they rely on every day. We partner closely with Engineering to design, implement, and support a core portfolio of tools—including Salesforce CRM, engagement, analytics, and communication applications—that help Frontline teams grow revenue and deliver an excellent partner experience.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Senior Salesforce Business Analyst on the Frontline Products team, you will play a critical role in how Zillow’s sales organizations operate and grow. You will partner with Sales leadership to align processes across multiple sales teams, safeguard data integrity, and build scalable analysis and reporting capabilities. You will collaborate with Sales Ops and Product & Engineering to translate sales processes into clear user stories, support testing, and maintain documentation and runbooks. You will also compile, analyze, and report on sales performance data to evaluate the impact of new capabilities after launch and to size and prioritize future opportunities.
YOU WILL GET TO:
- Partner closely with Agent Sales teams to document current-state processes, identify pain points, and turn them into clear Salesforce requirements.
- Lead discovery activities—such as stakeholder interviews, workflow mapping, and requirements workshops—to inform Salesforce and related system design.
- Translate business needs into actionable user stories with acceptance criteria, and collaborate with Product & Engineering in Agile ceremonies and backlog refinement.
- Plan and execute structured QA/UAT for new Salesforce features and enhancements, ensuring solutions work as intended for Frontline users.
- Maintain clear, up-to-date documentation of sales processes, system logic, and runbooks to support scalable operations across multiple sales teams.
- Serve as a liaison between Sales, Sales Ops, and Product & Engineering to triage issues, propose feature improvements, and align operational processes across sales organizations.
- Support large-scale initiatives—such as CRM migrations, team integrations, and cross-sell or bundling efforts.
- Analyze sales performance and pipeline data, build and refine dashboards and reports, and track post-deployment KPIs, impact, and ROI to guide data-informed decisions.

Frame your portfolio around real estate data
Zillow's Business Analyst work is grounded in housing market signals, listing behavior, and buyer intent data. Before applying, reframe your past projects around real estate or proptech contexts. Reviewers respond to candidates who already speak the domain.
Identify which Zillow teams file LCAs
Search the DOL Labor Condition Application disclosure data to see which Zillow business units and job titles have filed recently. This tells you where sponsorship activity is concentrated and which hiring managers are already cleared to sponsor.
Align your degree field to specialty occupation standards
USCIS requires H-1B roles to qualify as specialty occupations. For Business Analyst positions, a degree in information systems, statistics, economics, or a related quantitative field strengthens your petition. A general business degree alone may invite a Request for Evidence.
Time your application around Zillow's hiring cycles
Zillow ramps Business Analyst hiring ahead of its fiscal planning cycles. Targeting applications in late Q3 or early Q4 improves your chances of landing an offer with enough lead time to file before the April 1 H-1B cap-subject window.
Use Migrate Mate to surface active Business Analyst openings
Zillow's sponsorship-eligible Business Analyst roles don't always surface on general job boards. Use Migrate Mate to filter directly for Zillow openings that have a confirmed visa sponsorship history, so you're applying where sponsorship is actually available.
Clarify OPT or TN status before your offer stage
If you're on F-1 OPT or TN status, raise your authorization timeline with the recruiter before offer negotiation, not after. Zillow's recruiting team needs to assess whether your remaining authorized period covers onboarding and any USCIS processing window.

Find Business Analyst at Zillow JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Zillow sponsor H-1B visas for Business Analysts?
Yes, Zillow sponsors H-1B visas for Business Analyst roles. The company has an established sponsorship process and has supported this function across multiple business units. Business Analyst positions at Zillow typically qualify as specialty occupations under USCIS standards, particularly when the role requires a degree in a quantitative or technical field and involves data-driven product or market analysis.
Which visa types does Zillow commonly sponsor for Business Analyst roles?
Zillow sponsors several visa types for Business Analyst positions, including H-1B, F-1 OPT and CPT, TN, and J-1. For candidates pursuing permanent residency, Zillow also supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways, which typically involve PERM labor certification filed through the DOL. The most common path for full-time hires is H-1B, often following an OPT period.
What qualifications does Zillow expect for Business Analyst roles?
Zillow's Business Analyst roles generally require a bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as economics, statistics, information systems, or computer science. Hiring teams look for hands-on experience with SQL, data visualization tools, and cross-functional stakeholder work. Candidates with real estate, proptech, or marketplace platform experience stand out, particularly those who have translated data insights into product or operational decisions.
How do I apply for Business Analyst jobs at Zillow?
Start by browsing active Business Analyst openings at Zillow on Migrate Mate, which filters for roles with confirmed visa sponsorship history. Once you identify a relevant role, tailor your resume to highlight real estate or data-platform experience. Apply directly through Zillow's careers site and be prepared to discuss your current work authorization status early in the recruiter screening call.
How do I plan my timeline when pursuing H-1B sponsorship through Zillow?
H-1B cap-subject petitions must be filed by April 1 for an October 1 start date. If you're on F-1 OPT, confirm your OPT expiration date and whether you're eligible for a 24-month STEM extension, which can bridge the gap if you don't get selected in the lottery. USCIS typically announces lottery results in March, so you should have an offer in place well before February to give Zillow's legal team sufficient preparation time.
