Frame your HR credentials around tech environments
Zoox operates at the intersection of software, robotics, and manufacturing. Highlight experience supporting engineering or R&D teams in your resume and cover letter. Generic HR backgrounds get screened out in favor of candidates who understand technical hiring pipelines.
Research Zoox's LCA filings before applying
Zoox's Labor Condition Applications are publicly available through the DOL's OFLC disclosure database. Searching HR-related job titles shows you the prevailing wage levels Zoox has certified, which helps you gauge whether your target role qualifies and what salary range to expect.
Target roles tied to Zoox's scaled hiring programs
Zoox runs structured recruiting for engineering and operations talent, meaning HR roles tied to those functions see consistent sponsorship activity. Prioritize applications for HR Business Partner and talent acquisition positions aligned to those verticals over generalist HR coordinator roles.
Confirm your visa type fits Zoox's sponsored categories early
Zoox sponsors multiple visa categories including H-1B, E-3, TN, and F-1 OPT. Before your first interview, confirm which category applies to your nationality and degree. Use Migrate Mate to filter open HR roles at Zoox by the visa type you're eligible for.
Align your OPT or CPT start date with Zoox's hiring cycles
If you're on F-1 OPT, Zoox's HR hiring tends to ramp alongside its engineering headcount growth. A mismatch between your OPT start date and the role's target start can push you into a 60-day grace period. Flag your authorization timeline clearly during the offer stage.
Get your H-1B paperwork sequenced correctly with Zoox HR
H-1B specialty occupation determinations for HR roles can draw scrutiny from USCIS if the position isn't framed around a specific bachelor's-level discipline. Work with Zoox's internal immigration team to ensure your job description and degree are documented as directly related before the I-129 is filed.

Find Human Resources at Zoox JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Zoox sponsor H-1B visas for Human Resources?
Yes, Zoox sponsors H-1B visas for Human Resources roles. HR positions must qualify as specialty occupations under USCIS standards, which generally requires the role to demand a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field. Strategic HR, HR Business Partner, and talent acquisition roles tied to technical functions are the most straightforward fits for H-1B sponsorship at Zoox.
How do I apply for Human Resources jobs at Zoox?
Applications go through Zoox's careers portal, where HR roles are listed by function and location. To find roles that explicitly support visa sponsorship, browse Zoox's Human Resources listings on Migrate Mate, which filters for sponsored positions so you can confirm eligibility before investing time in the application process.
Which visa types does Zoox commonly use for Human Resources roles?
Zoox sponsors a range of visa categories for HR positions, including H-1B, H-1B1, E-3, TN, and F-1 OPT and CPT. Australian nationals can use the E-3 as a faster alternative to the H-1B lottery. Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying HR roles may be eligible for TN status. The right category depends on your nationality, degree field, and the specific role.
What qualifications does Zoox expect for sponsored Human Resources roles?
Zoox's HR team operates inside a deep-tech automotive company, so candidates are expected to bring experience supporting high-volume technical hiring or HR Business Partner work within engineering-driven organizations. A bachelor's degree in human resources, organizational psychology, business, or a related field is standard. Roles requiring USCIS H-1B sponsorship must demonstrate that a specific degree is a baseline requirement for the position.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for a Human Resources role at Zoox?
Timeline depends on visa type. H-1B petitions filed in the April cap season have an October 1 start date, meaning you could wait five to six months after selection before starting work. E-3 and TN categories move faster, with consular processing often completed within a few weeks of receiving your offer letter and supporting documents. F-1 OPT authorization through USCIS typically takes three to five months, so apply early.
