Compliance Manager Jobs in Los Angeles: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a compliance manager job in Los Angeles?
Target the sectors that drive the most hiring in Los Angeles: financial services firms in Century City and Downtown, healthcare systems across the Westside, and entertainment and media companies in Burbank and Hollywood. Candidates who combine a relevant credential such as a CRCM or CFE with direct experience in California-regulated industries stand out. Networking through local chapters of SCCE or ICA also opens doors that online applications alone rarely do.
Which companies hire compliance managers in Los Angeles?
Employers hiring compliance managers in Los Angeles right now include EVgo, Rula, and TikTok, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Los Angeles draws a broad mix of large financial institutions, regional healthcare networks, and entertainment conglomerates, all of which maintain active in-house compliance functions.
Are there remote compliance manager jobs in Los Angeles?
Yes, though it depends on the function. Policy-focused and regulatory-reporting roles tend to be more remote-friendly, while audit, investigations, and on-site monitoring roles usually require a physical presence. About 50% of compliance manager openings tied to Los Angeles are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, with the highest share coming from financial services and insurance employers based in Century City and Downtown.
How can I get a compliance manager job in Los Angeles with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Los Angeles is moving into a compliance analyst or compliance coordinator role at a mid-size financial services firm or regional health system, both of which hire steadily across the metro. Community banks in the San Fernando Valley and healthcare groups on the Westside are known to develop junior compliance staff internally. A paralegal or risk operations background also translates well and can substitute for direct compliance experience in early interviews.
