We are a construction management firm that provides owner's rep services to clients. (We are NOT an engineering inspection firm.) Our role is to observe and document construction, creating, maintaining and updating the project record, ensuring the construction is to plans and specs and to bring together all project stakeholders to resolve issues and deliver a project on time and and on budget.

Construction Inspector needed for a major industrial optimization and modernization effort to reduce energy use and improve infrastructure resiliency in Baltimore, MD. This project is a Utility Energy Service Contract (UESC), valued close to $87 million. A series of Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs) will be designed and constructed to enhance operational efficiency, lower utility costs, and meet mandated performance targets.

The construction inspector must have experience with construction inspection, at least two years’ experience working on federal government projects (preferably US Coast Guard projects) and experience with projects of similar size and scope from mobilization through completion. The strongest candidates will have five or more years of government project experience and/or Coast Guard projects experience.

Here is what we’re looking for:

· 10 years of construction experience as a construction inspector, contractor superintendent or quality control manager – OR - a minimum of five (5) years’ experience with a 4-year college degree in Engineering, PE, PMP, or QA/QC certifications attained within the last 10 years

· Experience of installation/repair tasks or inspection duties in several of the building trades (i.e. structural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, architectural, civil, etc.)

· Experience in utilizing Construction Management Software – Procure preferred

· Strong communication skills – written reporting, ability to photograph and convey information

· Your similar project(s) for the write up: Show projects involving the construction of waterfront infrastructure, building envelope improvements, site utilities installation, civil works, electrical upgrades, photovoltaic (PV) and battery energy storage systems (BESS), and design-build projects, new construction of multi-mission buildings, and roads. Project details should include the type, scope, location, delivery method, cost, and position(s) filled

Pay: $90,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
