We are casting a wide net: depending on your background and experience, you may be considered for a Construction Manager, Construction Supervisor, or Civil Construction Manager role.
If you have the experience and drive to lead field teams, execute new builds from the ground up, and deliver quality work in the wireless telecom industry, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
Field & Construction Oversight
- Lead and oversee day-to-day construction activities on wireless telecommunications job sites, including new site builds across raw land, colocation, rooftop, and utility pole site types.

- Direct crews, subcontractors, and field personnel to ensure work is executed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with the approved scope of work.
- Conduct pre-construction walks, bid walks, and post-construction punch walks; inspect and approve subcontractor work in the field and document deficiencies.
- Oversee and/or perform RF line/antenna installation, including antennas, RRUs, coax, fiber, power trunks, RET motors, grounding, weatherproofing, microwave dishes, GPS antennas, and cabling supports.
- Oversee and/or perform civil and electrical construction tasks including concrete foundations, equipment pads, H-frames, trenching, directional boring, conduit installation for power and fiber, DC/AC power systems, generators, transformers, and site preparation.
- Oversee underground and AAV (Alternative Access Vendor) fiber installation and conduit runs for power and fiber systems.
- Review and interpret construction drawings, RFDSs, NTPs, MOPs, and all project-related documentation; ensure all crews are working from current, approved documents at all times.
- Coordinate material and equipment delivery to job sites; validate and report on-site inventory of customer-supplied (SP/ASP) and internal materials.
- Evaluate work trucks prior to mobilization to confirm correct materials, tools, and PPE are loaded.
- Identify scope deviations, potential change orders, and out-of-scope work; report findings to the Project Manager for resolution.
- Drive timely completion and submission of Close Out Packages (COPs) for each site, including pre/post photographs, redlined construction drawings, test results, and all client-required closeout documentation.
- Ensure building final inspection coordination is completed on applicable projects.
Project & Office Responsibilities

- Prepare or assist with scopes of work, bills of materials (BOMs), and project quotes for assigned projects.
- Review customer-provided construction documents, RFDSs, and NTPs to validate scope and customer-supplied materials.
- Manage customer and client correspondence; serve as a reliable point of contact for assigned projects and communicate proactively on status, issues, schedule changes, and deliverables.
- Track and manage project deliverables, timelines, and documentation; identify and escalate project risks, schedule conflicts, or budget concerns to the Project Manager in a timely manner.
- Assist with new site turn-up and development activities, including resource planning and cost estimate support.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, job logs, field reports, and Daily Field Activities across assigned projects.
Subcontractor & Vendor Coordination

Mid Level Construction Site Manager Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a mid level construction site manager job?
Position yourself around project ownership rather than task completion. Highlight specific projects where you managed schedules, subcontractors, or budgets independently, and quantify outcomes like on-time delivery or cost savings. Employers at this level want to see that you can run a job site without constant direction, so your application materials should center on decisions you made, not just duties you performed.
Which companies hire mid level construction site managers?
Companies hiring mid level construction site managers right now include Mountain Point, NuWave Communications, and pbi, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. General contractors, specialty subcontractors, and real estate development firms are the most active employers at this level, typically seeking candidates who can manage concurrent scopes and keep projects on schedule independently.
Are there remote mid level construction site manager jobs?
Yes, though the role is overwhelmingly on-site by nature. About 7% of mid level construction site manager openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, and those listings tend to be project coordination or owner's representative roles rather than traditional field management positions. Most employers expect a physical presence on active job sites at this experience level.
How do I move up to a mid level construction site manager role?
Growth from entry level to mid level comes from accumulating ownership, not just time. Focus on taking on progressively larger project scopes, volunteering to lead subcontractor coordination, and documenting measurable outcomes like schedule adherence and budget performance. Earning a field credential such as OSHA 30 or a project management certification strengthens your case, and demonstrating that you can troubleshoot independently signals readiness for the mid level jump.
Which industries hire the most mid level construction site managers?
Mid Level construction site manager roles concentrate in Consulting & Professional Services, Construction & Real Estate, and Manufacturing, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. These sectors drive consistent hiring at the mid level because they run high volumes of concurrent projects that require experienced field supervision without the overhead of a senior superintendent on every site.
