About the Role
As our Field Supervisor, Enhancement you'll be at the forefront of high-impact landscape transformation projects for our clients. This role requires mastering operational excellence through project planning and resource coordination, building and leading high-performing teams that consistently deliver results, and maintaining budget control to ensure every project meets profitability targets. You'll own logistics like material ordering, crew scheduling, and equipment deployment while regularly reporting progress to leadership and collaborating with fellow supervisors.
What You'll Do
Field Operations Management
- Oversee daily enhancement crew operations to achieve minimum 60% gross margin on all jobs
- Execute and monitor daily workflow to ensure projects follow the Enhancement process, remain on schedule and within budget
- Conduct regular site visits to verify quality standards and project progress
- Troubleshoot field issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain project timelines
Crew Leadership & Development
- Directly supervise enhancement field staff, providing clear direction and performance feedback
- Train crew members on proper installation techniques and company standards
- Monitor and enforce accurate time-tracking procedures for all field personnel
- Ensure proper equipment usage and maintenance protocols are followed
- Conduct regular safety meetings and enforce all required PPE and safety protocols
Project Execution
- Translate project specifications from paper to field implementation
- Coordinate material deliveries and equipment needs for upcoming projects
- Document daily progress through comprehensive photo documentation
- Track and report labor hours and material usage for each project
- Identify potential issues before they impact project margins
Quality Control
- Perform quality inspections on all completed enhancement work
- Ensure all installations meet or exceed company and industry standards
- Document and address any quality concerns immediately
- Conduct final walk-throughs with clients as needed
Resource Optimization
- Maintain accurate inventory of materials and supplies
- Coordinate equipment sharing between crews to maximize efficiency
- Report maintenance needs promptly to prevent equipment downtime
- Implement cost-saving techniques and products as directed by management
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years of landscape enhancement or construction experience
- 1+ years of supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of landscape installation practices and materials
- Strong irrigation knowledge and background
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Proficiency with mobile technology for time-tracking and photo documentation
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to read and interpret landscape plans and specifications
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Physical Requirements
- Position requires heavy lifting, pushing and pulling up to 50 lbs., manual dexterity, and operating equipment
- Working conditions include outdoor environments with variable lighting, weather conditions, noise levels, and potential exposure to hazardous materials
