Your opportunity
The Manager, Content Distribution is responsible for executing and delivering Schwab
Network’s multi-platform content distribution strategy across owned and partner digital
channels. This role manages the operational workflows that package, optimize, publish,
and distribute content while maximizing audience engagement, discoverability, and
platform performance.
This role serves as the operational bridge between editorial, production, digital publishing,
and audience growth, ensuring content reaches the right audience through the right
distribution channels with compelling metadata, platform-specific optimization, and
performance-driven decision making.
Primary Responsibilities
Content Management
- Execute distribution strategies across all digital platforms, including the website,
partners.
- Publishing content to various channels.
- Continuously evaluate emerging platforms.
- Define publishing priorities based on audience behavior and business objectives.
- Lead daily content packaging and distribution workflows.
- Prioritize content for publishing across multiple destinations.
- Ensure quality control and consistency across all digital platforms.
- Manage content calendars, publishing schedules, and distribution priorities.
Platform Optimization
- Deliver on metadata strategy, including titles, descriptions, thumbnails, playlists,
- Adhere to platform-specific publishing standards while maintaining editorial
- Optimize distribution workflows to maximize efficiency and audience reach.
- Monitor platform performance and audience engagement.
- Analyze content trends and recommend adjustments to the distribution strategy.
- Partner with analytics stakeholders to identify opportunities for audience growth
- Partner with Editorial, Production, Social, Engineering, and Marketing teams.
- Support automation initiatives, AI-assisted publishing workflows, and CMS
- Serve as the primary operational lead for new distribution initiatives.
What you have
7+ years in broadcast digital media, content distribution, digital publishing, or
- 1+ year of Schwab multi-platform network experience gained as a current or recent contractor or employee
- Strong understanding of YouTube, CMS platforms, SEO, analytics, and digital
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives.
- Excellent editorial judgment and communication skills.
- Experience using analytics to drive content strategy.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted publishing tools and workflow automation is preferred.
