Corporate Financial Analyst Jobs in San Antonio, TX

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on professional who is comfortable working independently as well as with Ownership & the Management Team. The candidate will have a good attention for detail as well as the ability to see the ‘big picture’.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Perform daily & monthly, including creating and entering journal entries.

· Produce monthly internal financial statements and issue written narratives, as appropriate.

· Maintain monthly analytical worksheets to ensure completeness and accuracy.

o Monthly Revenue Analysis

o Monthly Production Analysis

o Weekly/Monthly Labor efficiency Analysis

o Monthly Expense analysis

o Monthly Job Inspections Reports

o Monthly Damage Tracking Reports

· Own inventory accounting, including costing and monthly reporting.

· Manage our insurance renewal along with providing our provider with the necessary information during annual insurance audits.

· Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedule.

· Perform and/or coordinate AP, AR, Payroll, and other accounting as necessary.

· Administer collection processes for past due accounts.

· Create annual budget and five-year business plan projections. Analyze operating results timely.

· Create spreadsheets to model various business scenarios.

· Perform financial analysis to support special projects and company initiatives.

· Identify and implement process improvements.

· Assist with evaluation / implementation of appropriate operating & accounting software systems.

· Assist in setting pricing. Maintain system pricing logs to ensure accurate pricing and optimization of revenue.

· Own Quickbooks & Service Fusion operations system. Maximize utilization of our systems features and reports for efficiency and operational effectiveness.

· Assist with development of Processes & Procedures Manual.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Proven, hands-on expertise in QuickBooks for Business and Microsoft Excel is essential for success in this role

· Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures

· Experience with general ledger functions and month-end close processes.

· Five or more years’ experience in finance / accounting.

· Experience with creating financial statements.

· Ability to research, compile, analyze and interpret data.

· Strong analytical and organization skills.

· Advanced spreadsheet modeling skills.

· Business related degree in Finance, accounting, or similar field. MBA a plus.

· Excellent communication skills

· Highly responsible & reliable and able to manage confidential information.

· Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced and growing environment.

· Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team.

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
