CT Technologist Jobs in Jacksonville: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a ct technologist job in Jacksonville?
The strongest hiring happens through Jacksonville's major hospital systems and the network of outpatient imaging centers anchored along the Southside and in the Beaches area. Candidates with ARRT certification and experience on multi-slice or 128-slice scanners move quickly through the process. Applying directly to health system career portals and building relationships with Jacksonville radiology department leads gives you a clear edge over relying on general job boards alone.
Which companies hire ct technologists in Jacksonville?
Employers hiring ct technologists in Jacksonville right now include Baptist Health, UF Health, and Baptist Health System, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Jacksonville's hiring is spread across large integrated health systems, freestanding imaging groups, and urgent care networks that have expanded significantly across the metro in recent years.
Are there remote ct technologist jobs in Jacksonville?
Remote work is rare for ct technologists because the role requires hands-on scanner operation and direct patient care. About 0% of ct technologist openings tied to Jacksonville are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, and those tend to be teleradiology support, scheduling coordination, or imaging quality review roles rather than direct scanning positions.
How can I get a ct technologist job in Jacksonville with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Jacksonville is completing a clinical rotation or externship through one of the local radiologic technology programs, then targeting PRN or per-diem positions at outpatient imaging centers in the Southside or Orange Park area, where turnover creates consistent openings. Demonstrating comfort on a variety of scan protocols and flexibility across shifts makes entry-level candidates far more competitive with Jacksonville hiring managers.
Which industries hire the most ct technologists in Jacksonville?
Most ct technologist openings in Jacksonville sit in Healthcare & Medical Services and Staffing & Recruiting, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026.
