CT Technologist Jobs in St. Louis: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a ct technologist job in St. Louis?
Target the large health systems anchored in the Central West End and the expanding outpatient imaging centers in South County, West County, and St. Charles. Academic medical centers and trauma-level hospitals in St. Louis consistently hire for both general CT and subspecialty-trained technologists. Candidates with cardiac CT or neuro CT experience stand out in this market, as do those with cross-training in MRI or fluoroscopy who can flex across modalities during staffing gaps.
Which companies hire ct technologists in St. Louis?
St. Louis ct technologist roles are posted by LiveWell Homecare Agency, BJC HealthCare, and SSM Health and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. The hiring mix in St. Louis runs from large academic health systems and Level I trauma centers to regional community hospitals and fast-growing independent outpatient imaging chains.
Are there remote ct technologist jobs in St. Louis?
Yes, but only in a narrow slice of the field, since CT scanning requires hands-on patient care and cannot be performed remotely. About 0% of ct technologist openings tied to St. Louis are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, and those roles are almost exclusively in teleradiology support, quality assurance, or imaging informatics rather than direct scanning.
How can I get a ct technologist job in St. Louis with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in St. Louis is applying for technologist trainee or CT intern positions at the major health systems, which routinely hire recent radiologic technology graduates and provide structured CT rotation training. Community hospitals in South St. Louis and St. Charles County also hire general rad techs willing to cross-train into CT on the job. Completing a CT clinical rotation at a St. Louis facility before graduating gives you a meaningful local connection that hiring managers notice.
