Position Summary
The Instructor – Flight Operations Training Curriculum Development serves as the Flight Operations Training Department's subject matter expert in academic program design, curriculum development, instructional methodology, and training modernization initiatives. This position supports the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of all Flight Operations training programs while ensuring compliance with FAA regulations, company policies, Operations Specifications, and operational requirements.
The Instructor – Flight Operations Training Curriculum Development actively participates in the delivery of training across classroom, virtual, simulator, and other approved training environments while leading the development of innovative learning solutions, distance-learning programs, curriculum enhancements, and instructor standardization initiatives designed to improve training effectiveness, operational performance, and regulatory compliance.
This position serves as a key technical resource within the Training Department and plays a critical role in supporting strategic training objectives through curriculum innovation, instructional excellence, and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications
- ATP Certificate or equivalent operational aviation experience.
- Previous experience as a Ground Instructor, Simulator Instructor, or equivalent training leadership role.
- Thorough knowledge of FAA Part 121 regulations and training requirements.
- Experience developing, revising, or maintaining training curricula and instructional materials.
- Strong presentation, facilitation, communication, and technical writing skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead training improvement initiatives.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Learning Management Systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Curriculum development and instructional design experience.
- Distance-learning, e-learning, and CBT development experience.
- Experience conducting classroom, virtual, and FSTD instruction in a Part 121 environment.
- Experience supporting FAA audits, inspections, and regulatory compliance programs.
- Experience supporting IOSA standards and training compliance initiatives.
Strategic Impact
Serves as a key technical resource in curriculum innovation, academic excellence, instructional methodology, and training modernization within the Flight Operations Training Department. Through curriculum development, FSTD integration, distance-learning implementation, instructor standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives, this position directly contributes to regulatory compliance, training effectiveness, operational readiness, and organizational performance.
