We operate internationally between Europe and the United States, and we're looking for an intern who wants real, hands-on experience — not busywork — inside a studio that's actually doing the work.
This is not a "shadow someone and take notes" internship. You'll be given real responsibility fast: managing projects, coordinating people, and working directly with the founder, Emmy Award-winning director Tamara Shogaolu, across everything from live productions to fundraising to how the studio actually makes money across different creative mediums.
You need to be organized, sharp, and able to own things without being micromanaged. In exchange, you'll get a level of access and responsibility most internships don't offer — and experience that translates whether or not you end up staying with us long-term.
What You'll Do
- Support studio operations across active projects — film, immersive, and public art productions — logistics, scheduling, vendor and partner coordination, day-to-day problem-solving
- Manage projects end-to-end: track deliverables, keep timelines on schedule, flag what's falling behind before it becomes a problem
- Coordinate and eventually oversee other interns and freelance collaborators
- Support business development — research partners, prep outreach, help build relationships that turn into real opportunities
- Support fundraising: research funders, help prepare materials, track the mechanics of active fundraising efforts
- Dig into how the studio makes and grows revenue across different creative mediums — help think through and optimize monetization models across film, immersive, public art, and emerging formats
- Manage the studio's website and marketing projects, keeping our public presence current and coordinated
- Support financial administration on live projects — budget tracking, invoice coordination (not bookkeeping)
- Build and improve internal systems and documentation — if something's inefficient or missing, you're expected to notice and fix it, not wait to be told
