Director Of Client Experience Jobs in Hawaii: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a director of client experience in Hawaii?
Most directors of client experience in Hawaii reach the role through a combination of a bachelor's degree in business, hospitality, or communications and progressive leadership experience in client-facing departments. Hawaii does not require a state-issued license specific to this role. Employers in Honolulu's financial and healthcare sectors often prefer candidates with a background in regulated industries, while resort and hospitality employers on Maui and Kauai value direct experience managing large guest-experience or concierge teams before moving into director-level positions.
Which companies hire director of client experiences in Hawaii?
Employers hiring director of client experiences in Hawaii right now include AECOM, Highgate, and Four Seasons, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Hawaii's hospitality-heavy economy means that resort groups, regional health systems, and community banks are among the most consistent sources of director-level client experience openings on the islands.
Which Hawaii cities have the most director of client experience jobs?
Honolulu, Kapolei, and Maui have the most director of client experience openings in Hawaii. Honolulu generates the largest share because it is home to the state's largest hospitals, bank headquarters, and corporate offices, while Maui and Kauai openings are driven by major resort and hospitality groups that require dedicated client experience leadership for their guest-services operations.
Are there remote director of client experience jobs in Hawaii?
Yes, and more than many senior leadership roles, though availability depends heavily on the industry. About 50% of director of client experience openings tied to Hawaii are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, with the remote segment skewed toward technology-platform companies and national financial services firms that recruit Hawaii-based leaders. Roles in resort hospitality and healthcare patient experience are almost always on-site given their hands-on team management requirements.
How can I get hired as a director of client experience in Hawaii with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is to build experience as a client services manager, guest relations supervisor, or customer success lead within Hawaii's hospitality or healthcare sectors before moving into a director role. Hawaii Pacific Health and Outrigger Hospitality Group both promote internally from customer-facing supervisory positions, making those organizations good starting points. Earning a certification such as a Certified Customer Experience Professional designation and building a measurable portfolio of client satisfaction improvements will give a candidate a meaningful edge over applicants relying on tenure alone.
Where can I find and apply to director of client experience jobs in Hawaii?
You can find and apply to director of client experience jobs in Hawaii on Migrate Mate, which lists current Hawaii openings across hospitality, healthcare, financial services, and other industries. Search the listings for roles that match your background and seniority, then apply directly to the ones that fit your experience.
