As Technical Producers at Riot, we lead passionate technical teams to create products and experiences that achieve maximum developer and player value. We guide development, clear blockers, and push initiatives across the finish line while ensuring our teams are sustainable and have a great collaborative environment.
As a Senior Technical Producer within Development Quality Assurance Services (DQAS), you will lead execution across a strategic portfolio of initiatives focused on scaling Riot’s quality capabilities. This includes service hardening of QATT infrastructure, centralized compatibility and performance testing, and the introduction of AI-enabled workflows for QA. You will operate as the delivery owner across multiple long-lived programs, translating product vision into execution systems that drive measurable outcomes. These programs span infrastructure, vendor-managed execution, and emerging AI capabilities, and require coordination across QATT, product teams, vendors, and DQAS leadership. You will be responsible for building and maintaining the work systems, delivery structures, and operational clarity required to move from strategy to shipped outcomes. This role requires operating in ambiguous, cross-organizational spaces where success depends on creating alignment, managing dependencies, and ensuring consistent delivery across multiple concurrent workstreams.
Responsibilities:
- Translate product strategy into clear execution plans, roadmaps, and measurable milestones, ensuring alignment to player and developer impact
- Drive end-to-end delivery across multiple initiatives, balancing speed, quality, and scope through informed tradeoffs
- Maintain visibility across programs, proactively identifying risks, dependencies, and blockers to enable strong decision-making
- Build and operate scalable systems for planning, tracking, reporting, and stakeholder communication
- Establish and evolve delivery models, improving service maturity through measurable performance, reliability, and trust signals
- Standardize processes where it adds value, increasing efficiency, predictability, and clarity across teams
- Manage vendors and key stakeholders end-to-end, resolving risks early and driving adoption through pilots, feedback loops, and repeatable rollout models
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 6+ years of experience as a Technical Producer, Product Manager, Program Manager, or Development Manager in complex technical environments
- Proven experience leading delivery across multi-team or multi-domain initiatives
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and modern development practices (Agile, Lean, etc.)
- Experience building and operating delivery systems (planning, tracking, reporting) at initiative or program level
- Experience managing external vendors or distributed development teams
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, evolving problem spaces
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to translate strategic intent into structured execution and measurable outcomes
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience working in QA, testing infrastructure, or developer tooling environments
- Experience with compatibility and performance testing (device labs, hardware matrices, or similar systems)
- Familiarity with AI/ML or LLM-enabled workflows in software development or QA contexts
- Experience building or operating shared services or internal platforms used across multiple teams
- Experience working in vendor-driven or staff-augmented development models
- Background in game development or understanding of game production pipelines
For this role, you'll find success through craft expertise, a collaborative spirit, and decision-making that prioritizes your fellow Rioters, who are the customers of your work. Being a dedicated fan of games is not necessary for this position!

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a Senior Technical Producer
Align your degree to production credentials
U.S. consular officers assess whether your Australian degree matches the Technical Producer role. A three-year bachelor's in film, computer science, or interactive media satisfies the specialty occupation requirement, document that equivalency explicitly in your application materials.
Target studios with active LCA filing history
Search the DOL's OFLC disclosure database for employers who have filed Labor Condition Applications for production or technical roles. Companies with recent LCA filings already understand the E-3 process and won't need educating during your offer negotiations.
Frame sponsorship early in offer discussions
Raise E-3 sponsorship before the offer letter stage, not after. Explain that the employer's obligation is filing an LCA with DOL, a faster and cheaper process than H-1B, so hiring teams don't conflate it with a full sponsorship burden they may be reluctant to take on.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service end-to-end
Once you have a signed offer, use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA, DS-160, and consulate preparation. This is especially useful when your employer's HR team has no prior E-3 experience and needs a guided process from offer acceptance to visa stamp.
Prepare a portfolio that evidences specialty occupation
Consular officers evaluating Technical Producer applications sometimes request evidence that the role requires specialized knowledge. Compile shipped titles, technical production credits, and project documentation that demonstrate your work goes beyond general management into specialized craft.
Negotiate a two-year visa period from the start
E-3 visas are issued for up to two years per grant and are indefinitely renewable. Confirm your offer letter covers at least a two-year employment period so your LCA wage attestation and visa validity are aligned and you avoid an early renewal scramble.

Find Senior Technical Producer JobsSenior Technical Producer E-3 Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Senior Technical Producer jobs with E-3 visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate lists Senior Technical Producer roles from U.S. employers who are open to E-3 visa sponsorship, filtering out positions where visa support is explicitly unavailable. Searching there saves you from cold-applying to studios that have no process for Australian hires. You can filter by role type, location, and industry to match your production background.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Senior Technical Producer role qualify as a specialty occupation under the E-3?
Yes, provided the position requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field such as computer science, film production, game design, or interactive media. Roles that accept any degree or no degree do not meet the specialty occupation threshold. Job postings that list a degree as 'preferred' rather than 'required' can create complications at the consulate, so verify the employer's internal requirement before filing.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for Technical Producer roles?
The E-3 has no annual cap and no lottery, so you can apply at any time of year and receive a decision within weeks of your consulate appointment. H-1B registrations are capped at 85,000 per fiscal year and subject to a random lottery, meaning most applicants are rejected before anyone reviews their qualifications. For Australian Technical Producers, the E-3 is a direct path where your credentials and offer letter determine the outcome.
Can I change studios or employers while on an E-3 visa?
You can change employers, but your E-3 status is employer-specific. Your new employer must file a fresh LCA with DOL and you'll need to either obtain a new E-3 visa stamp at a consulate or, in some cases, apply for a change of status if you're already in the U.S. Start that process before leaving your current role to avoid a gap in authorized employment status.
