Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a Paid Media Manager
Frame your Australian credentials for U.S. employers
A three-year Australian bachelor's degree in marketing or communications satisfies the E-3 specialty occupation requirement. Make sure your resume explicitly states the degree field and institution so hiring managers and their HR teams can confirm specialty occupation eligibility without extra back-and-forth.
Target employers with active LCA filing history
U.S. employers must file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL before sponsoring your E-3. Prioritise companies that have filed LCAs for marketing or advertising roles before, as they understand the process and won't hesitate at the sponsorship conversation.
Search for E-3 sponsorship roles on Migrate Mate
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by E-3 visa sponsorship, so you're only seeing Paid Media Manager roles where the employer is already open to the process. Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA and visa paperwork once you land an offer.
Bring up E-3 sponsorship before the offer stage
Raise the E-3 early, ideally at the second interview. Most U.S. hiring managers don't know the E-3 from the H-1B. Explaining that there's no lottery, no cap, and no multi-month USCIS wait removes the hesitation that kills sponsorship conversations before they start.
Verify your job title maps to a specialty occupation
Titles like 'Paid Media Manager' or 'Paid Search Manager' consistently qualify under DOL's specialty occupation definition because they require systematic application of marketing theory. Avoid accepting a vague title like 'Marketing Coordinator' that could complicate the LCA filing.
Understand the E-3 timeline after you receive your offer
LCA certification from the DOL typically takes seven business days, after which your employer provides the certified LCA and support letter for your consulate appointment. Book your Australian consulate slot immediately once the LCA is certified, as appointment availability varies by city.

Find Paid Media Manager JobsPaid Media Manager E-3 Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Paid Media Manager jobs with E-3 visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for this search. It surfaces Paid Media Manager roles where employers are open to E-3 sponsorship, so you're not cold-pitching visa questions to companies unfamiliar with the process. Filtering by E-3 eligibility upfront saves weeks of back-and-forth with hiring managers who don't understand how the visa works.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Paid Media Manager role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3?
Yes. Paid Media Manager positions require systematic application of paid search, programmatic, or social advertising theory, which satisfies the DOL's specialty occupation standard. Your employer will document this when filing the Labor Condition Application. A degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or a closely related field supports the filing. Roles with vague or generalist titles can create complications, so confirm the exact job title before the offer is finalised.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for Paid Media Manager roles?
The E-3 is far more predictable for this role. The H-1B requires entering a lottery with roughly a one-in-four chance of selection, and you can only start work in October even if selected in April. The E-3 has no lottery, no annual cap, and no waiting period tied to a fiscal year. You can start within weeks of receiving your certified LCA and attending your consulate appointment, which is a meaningful difference for candidates and employers alike.
Can I switch employers or get promoted while on an E-3 as a Paid Media Manager?
You can change employers, but each new employer must file a fresh LCA and you'll need a new E-3 visa stamp before starting work with them. An internal promotion that changes your job title or duties significantly may also require an updated LCA, since the certification is tied to the specific role and prevailing wage level on the original filing. Clarify this with your employer before accepting a new offer or title change.
