Mid Level Education Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a mid level education job?
Position yourself by highlighting direct ownership of programs, courses, or student outcomes rather than task completion. Emphasize moments where you led a project, adapted curriculum independently, or supported a less experienced colleague. Applications that show measurable results, such as improved student performance or successful program rollouts, stand out to hiring managers looking for educators who work with genuine autonomy.
Which companies hire mid level educations?
Companies hiring mid level educations right now include Christian Dior, Hmong College Prep Academy, and Siemens Healthineers, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Hiring at this level comes from a mix of school districts, higher education institutions, edtech companies, and corporate learning and development teams that need educators who can take on sustained ownership of programs.
Are there remote mid level education jobs?
Yes, though availability varies by role type. About 22% of mid level education openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, with instructional design, curriculum development, and edtech roles leading the remote share. Classroom-based and student-facing positions remain predominantly on-site, so filtering by work setting when you search helps narrow results quickly.
How do I move up to a mid level education role?
The path from entry level into mid level education is built on deepening a specific competency, whether that is curriculum design, assessment development, or instructional coaching, and demonstrating that you can own a project from start to finish. Educators who take on committee work, lead pilot programs, or document measurable student impact tend to build the portfolio that mid level roles require over the course of a few years.
Which industries hire the most mid level educations?
Mid Level education roles concentrate in Education, Healthcare & Medical Services, and Technology & Software, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. These sectors drive hiring at this level because they need educators who can manage ongoing programs independently, whether that means running a school department, owning a corporate training function, or leading product development at an edtech company.
