Position: We're looking for a full-time Electrical Superintendent to lead and oversee multiple electrical construction projects and field teams. This role serves as the senior field leader responsible for driving project execution, safety, quality, schedule adherence, and workforce performance.As the primary liaison between field operations, project management, and clients, the Superintendent plays a critical role in ensuring successful project delivery from preconstruction through close-out. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in electrical construction, strong leadership capabilities, and a proactive, solutions-driven mindset with a safety-first approach. Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage field operations across one or more large-scale projects, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity standards are met.
- Lead, mentor, and develop General Foremen, Foremen, and field crews to promote high performance, accountability, and career growth.
- Coordinate manpower planning, labor projections, and resource allocation across projects.
- Partner closely with Project Managers to ensure alignment on budgets, schedules, and project goals.
- Ensure all work complies with company standards, project specifications, and applicable electrical codes (NFPA 70).
- Drive project scheduling, including look-ahead planning (3–6 weeks) and milestone tracking.
- Monitor and manage job costs, productivity, and financial performance in the field.
- Oversee material procurement strategy, tracking, and logistics in collaboration with field leadership and PM teams.
- Maintain clear communication with clients, general contractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Support and review RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting, including daily reports, incident reports, and progress updates.
- Oversee project close-out processes including punch lists, as-builts, and final inspections.
- Enforce all safety policies, HR policies, and company procedures; lead safety initiatives on-site.
- Approve timecards and ensure proper workforce management across projects.
- 8+ years of commercial/industrial electrical construction experience, with 3+ years in a Superintendent or senior leadership role
- Proven experience managing large-scale projects ($5M+), multiple sites, or complex builds
- Experience in data centers, major healthcare, and industrial work.
- Demonstrated success leading large teams (50+ field personnel across multiple crews/projects)
- Advanced knowledge of electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, low voltage, and data systems
- Strong understanding of NFPA 70 (NEC), construction practices, and industry standards
- Expertise in reading and interpreting plans, specifications, and submittals
- Strong financial acumen including budgeting, cost tracking, and forecasting
- Experience with construction management software and reporting tools
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Clean background and driving record
