Mid Level ERP Consultant Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a mid level erp consultant job?
Position your experience around ownership, not just participation. Highlight modules you configured end to end, process gaps you identified, and decisions you made without a senior consultant reviewing every step. Tailor your resume to the specific ERP platform in the job posting, and lead with outcomes, such as reduced close cycles or improved data accuracy, rather than a list of tasks completed.
Which companies hire mid level erp consultants?
Companies hiring mid level erp consultants right now include Amazon, Heartland Business Systems, and Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Hiring at this level comes from a mix of consulting firms staffing client-facing delivery teams, and enterprise organizations building out their internal ERP centers of excellence.
Are there remote mid level erp consultant jobs?
Yes, remote and hybrid arrangements are common at this level, though project phases like go-live and user training often require on-site presence. About 31% of mid level erp consultant openings are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, making flexibility more accessible here than in many technical specialties that rely on physical infrastructure.
How do I move up to a mid level erp consultant role?
The path from entry level to mid level is built on expanding the scope of what you own. Early in your career, focus on mastering one or two core modules deeply rather than staying generalist. From there, seek out projects where you drive a workstream rather than support one, document the measurable impact of your work, and take on informal mentorship of newer colleagues to demonstrate the leadership readiness mid level roles require.
Which industries hire the most mid level erp consultants?
Mid Level erp consultant roles concentrate in Technology & Software, Manufacturing, and Healthcare & Medical Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. These sectors drive hiring at this level because their operational complexity, regulatory requirements, and supply chain or financial reporting demands require consultants who can own implementation workstreams and translate business processes into system configuration without heavy oversight.
