Field Technician
ONLY LOCAL CANDIDATES WILL BE CONSIDERED (Baltimore, Maryland)
We are seeking dependable and flexible Temporary Field Technicians to support a short-term project involving phone setup and installation across multiple locations. Candidates must be available to start on December 1 and work through December 31.
This is an entry-level opportunity, and prior technical experience is not required. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on technical experience in a field-based environment.
Responsibilities
- Unbox, organize, and prepare phone equipment for installation
- Set up phone lines and equipment
- Install phones on walls at various locations
- Travel between assigned locations throughout the day
- Follow instructions and established procedures to complete installations accurately and efficiently
Work Schedule
- Temporary assignment: December 1 through December 31
- Typical schedule: 2 pm - 10 pm, approximately 40 hours per week
- Shift schedules may vary throughout the week based on project needs
- Must be flexible and available to work overtime as needed
Requirements
- Must reside in the Baltimore, Maryland area and be able to commute to multiple work locations
- Reliable transportation is required
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and remain on your feet for most of the shift
- Dependable, punctual, and able to follow directions
- Willing and able to travel between assigned locations during the workday
Qualifications / Skills / Knowledge
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- No prior technical experience required
- Basic familiarity with tools or installation is helpful but not required
- Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced, project-based environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Salary
Salary range for this role is $20 -$25 per hour.
