Financial Services Account Executive Jobs in Delaware: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a financial services account executive in Delaware?
Most financial services account executive roles in Delaware require a bachelor's degree in finance, business, or economics combined with relevant FINRA licensing. Depending on the products involved, candidates need a Series 6 or Series 7 license for securities, a Series 63 for Delaware state registration, or a Series 65 or 66 for investment advisory work. Licensing is administered through FINRA and must be sponsored by an employer. Delaware insurance roles additionally require a property, casualty, or life license issued by the Delaware Department of Insurance.
Which companies hire financial services account executives in Delaware?
Delaware financial services account executive roles are posted by JPMorganChase, Solenis, and FujiFilm and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Delaware's status as a major corporate domicile means hiring activity is especially strong among large national banks, wealth management firms, and insurance carriers with regional or headquarters operations in the Wilmington area.
Which Delaware cities have the most financial services account executive jobs?
Wilmington, Newark, and New Castle lead Delaware for financial services account executive openings. Wilmington drives the large majority of listings because it serves as the state's financial center and hosts headquarters or major operations for national banks, credit card issuers, and investment firms. Newark benefits from proximity to Wilmington and a steady supply of candidates from the University of Delaware, while Dover openings tend to reflect state government-adjacent financial services and regional insurance roles.
Are there remote financial services account executive jobs in Delaware?
Yes, and they are more common than in many fields because much of the role centers on phone, email, and digital client outreach rather than physical presence. About 47% of financial services account executive openings tied to Delaware are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting broader industry flexibility. Portfolio management support, inside sales, and renewal account management tend to be the functions most frequently offered on a fully remote basis.
How can I get hired as a financial services account executive in Delaware with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is through a financial services associate or client service representative role at one of Delaware's large retail banks or insurance carriers, where you build product knowledge and work toward FINRA licensing with employer sponsorship. JPMorgan Chase and Bank of America both run structured new-hire development programs at their Wilmington operations. Candidates who complete a Series 6 or 63 exam before applying stand out, and a degree or coursework in finance from the University of Delaware or Wilmington University is recognized by Delaware hiring managers as a credible foundation.
