What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and optimize full-stack applications (backend and frontend) for high-traffic payment platforms, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Build high-performance, secure integrations with global Payment Service Providers (PSPs) using modern protocols and API standards.
- Develop responsive, intuitive frontend experiences using modern JavaScript frameworks while building robust backend services that power them.
- Create lightweight, well-documented APIs for seamless client, SDK, and cross-team communication.
- Ensure high quality of service (QoS) and maintain strong security standards across the entire stack.
- Tackle complex end-to-end problems with innovative solutions and foster a culture of openness, learning, and continuous improvement.
Mission and Goals
- Lead the technical design and hands-on full-stack development of high-traffic payment applications — from database to UI.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering leaders, and Architects to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Own and drive complex technical designs of systems architecture and components built using Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot on the backend and React, Vue.js, or Angular on the frontend.
- Collaborate across engineering and product teams to build secure, performant systems that meet strict SLAs.
- Contribute to the entire application lifecycle — development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
- Champion systems architecture improvements and drive continuous modernization of existing services.
- Integrate with global PSPs, ensuring seamless payment flows across regions and providers.
What You Bring
Required (10+ Years of Experience)
- Strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring, Spring Boot for backend development.
- Proficiency in at least one modern frontend framework: React, Vue.js, or Angular, with solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience designing and building APIs across multiple architectural styles — REST, Webhooks, SOAP, GraphQL.
- Proficiency with SQL (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Redis, DynamoDB) databases.
- Experience with cloud platforms — Azure, AWS, or both — including deployment, scaling, and managed services.
- Strong ability to write unit tests, integration tests, and automated test suites.
- Solid Object-Oriented Design skills and understanding of design patterns.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development methodology.
- Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment across distributed teams and time zones.
Security Competencies
- Good understanding of API Security Best Practices for building secure applications across frontend and backend.
- Working experience applying strong cryptographic algorithms and secure hashing techniques.
- Hands-on experience with SAST/DAST tools to identify, review, and remediate security vulnerabilities.
- Good understanding of data security standards (e.g., PCI DSS, GDPR) and their application in payment systems.

- AI Proficiency & Tools: Familiarity with AI-powered development and automation tools such as N8N, LangChain, Claude, GitHub Copilot, or similar platforms. Experience leveraging AI to accelerate development workflows, automate repetitive tasks, or build intelligent integrations is a strong plus.
- Exposure to AI/ML concepts and the ability to evaluate and integrate AI-driven capabilities into existing applications or workflows.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
- Experience with message brokers and event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Exposure to observability and monitoring tools (Datadog, Splunk, Grafana, ELK).
