Job Description Summary
The Division of General Internal Medicine, Section of Palliative Care is seeking outstanding clinician educators for tenure-track appointment at the assistant or associate professor level. This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving and growing palliative care program in beautiful Charleston, South Carolina. Ideal candidates will be strong clinicians with an interest in program development, education, and academic medicine. Candidates must be BC/BE in Hospice and Palliative Medicine and eligible for medical licensure in South Carolina.

Job Description
This is a clinical, full-time 1.0 FTE faculty position. Our NCI designated Cancer Center is set to undergo significant expansion in the coming years and we are expanding palliative care services accordingly. This role offers exciting opportunities for program development. Primary clinical responsibilities will consist of outpatient palliative care in close collaboration with oncologists. Overall cFTE and related number of outpatient clinic sessions or weeks of inpatient service will be offset proportionally by any funded effort for teaching or other leadership roles or grants that cover your salary.
Salary will be commensurate with the applicant's qualifications and professional experience.
