The Opportunity
Tire Tech, is not your average storage facility—we are an aggressive, efficiency-focused operation in the heart of Birmingham. We are looking for an Inventory Operations Lead who treats $3 million in inventory like their own capital.
This role is for the ambitious operator who is tired of static, repetitive "warehouse" jobs. If you have an entrepreneurial spirit, a sharp eye for process, and the guts to challenge the status quo on the production floor, we want to talk to you. We don’t just want someone to count parts; we want someone to own the flow, eliminate friction, and help us scale our profitability.
What You’ll Actually Do
- Master the Floor: You will live by the "management by walking around" philosophy. You’ll be on the floor, identifying bottlenecks, and ensuring our layout is optimized for speed and accuracy.
- Drive Profitability: You will be responsible for $3M in inventory flow. This means obsessive focus on turnover rates, identifying dead stock, and implementing creative solutions to prevent shrinkage.
- Engineer the Workflow: We value creativity. If our current system for tracking parts or organizing storage is inefficient, you have the autonomy to redesign it. We reward those who propose better, faster ways to get things done.
- Own the Results: You are part of a lean, high-performing team. You will be expected to analyze data, report on KPIs, and take initiative without waiting for a checklist.
What You Bring
- Entrepreneurial Grit: You are a problem solver who takes ownership of outcomes. You’re not just looking for a 9-to-5; you’re looking to make an impact.
- The "Operator" Mindset: You are naturally curious about how things work and why they break. You thrive in fast-paced environments where precision matters.
- High Accountability: You understand that accurate inventory is the backbone of our EBITDA strategy.
- Experience: Proven background in inventory control, warehouse management, or high-volume parts operations. Bonus points for Lean or Six Sigma exposure.
Why Join Us?
- Direct Impact: You will work directly with leadership to overhaul processes that will dictate our future success. Your input won't get lost in a corporate hierarchy—it will be implemented.
- Growth Environment: We are growing, and we are looking for leaders. If you show the ability to optimize your area and drive results, there is a clear path to expand your scope.
- Culture of Excellence: We value hands-on leadership, clear communication, and a competitive drive to be the best in the market.
How to Apply: Don’t just send a resume. Send us a brief note highlighting one specific time you identified an operational inefficiency and fixed it. We want to see how you think.
Tire Tech, is an equal opportunity employer committed to building a team of high-performers who share our commitment to operational excellence.
