Job Description:

We are in search of an experienced and active maintenance supervisor for a 315-unit garden style apartment complex. Applicants must have HVAC certification and possess good plumbing, carpentry, and electrical skills. Good communication, supervisory skills, and experience are required. Must have demonstrated ability to effectively supervise maintenance staff and take responsibility for hiring, training, and managing staff as needed.

Responsibilities

• Inspect facilities regularly to determine problems and necessary maintenance
• Hire and supervise tradesmen during installations, repairs or maintenance (electricians, plumbers etc.)
• Monitor inventory of materials and equipment
• Participate in coordination of projects (e.g. renovations)
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulation

Skills

• Proven experience as maintenance technician or similar role
• Knowledge of health and safety practices and regulation
• High school diploma: Degree from a vocational school will be a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $29.00 - $33.00 per hour
