Duties:

- Troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters.
- Conduct repairs using welding techniques specific to welding standards when necessary to restore equipment functionality.
- Operate field service tools such as scissor lifts and other industrial lifts to access elevated or hard-to-reach areas safely.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, asset history, and inventory levels.
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime by quickly diagnosing issues related to manufacturing processes or equipment failures.
- Support HVAC/R systems maintenance to ensure optimal climate control within the facility, including troubleshooting thermostats, compressors, fans, and ventilation systems.
- Assist with installing new machinery or upgrades by interpreting schematics and mechanical drawings while adhering to safety protocols.
- Conduct safety inspections related to electrical hazards such as high voltage or low voltage systems; implement corrective actions as needed.
- Participate in emergency response procedures for electrical or mechanical incidents involving industrial systems or field service calls.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with team members and external vendors or contractors during maintenance activities.
Experience:
MUST HAVE 5 YEARS EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE IN PLUMBING, MECHANICAL, AND ELECTRICAL. Must have worked in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven industrial mechanic experience within a manufacturing facility environment, demonstrating strong mechanical knowledge across various systems.
- Hands-on experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), industrial electricians’ tools, schematics interpretation, and troubleshooting electrical circuits involving high voltage and low voltage systems.
- Familiarity with CMMS platforms for work order management and asset tracking is highly desirable.
- Skilled in hydraulics, welding, HVAC/R maintenance, and the use of precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters.
- Knowledge of industrial maintenance best practices combined with analysis skills for diagnosing complex mechanical or electrical issues efficiently.
- Experience working with industrial lifts like scissor lifts safely within a manufacturing setting.
