Founded in 1977 as the Senior Care Action Network, SCAN began with a simple but radical idea: that older adults deserve to stay healthy and independent. That belief was championed by a group of community activists we still honor today as the “12 Angry Seniors.” Their mission continues to guide everything we do.
Today, SCAN is a nonprofit health organization serving more than 500,000 people across Arizona, California, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas, and Washington, with over $8 billion in annual revenue. With nearly five decades of experience, we have built a distinctive, values-driven platform dedicated to improving care for older adults.
Our work spans Medicare Advantage, fully integrated care models, primary care, care for the most medically and socially complex populations, and next-generation care delivery models. Across all of this, we are united by a shared commitment: combining compassion with discipline, innovation with stewardship, and growth with integrity.
At SCAN, we believe scale should strengthen—not dilute—our mission. We are building the future of care for older adults, grounded in purpose, accountability, and respect for the people and communities we serve.

Senior Level Insurance Broker Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a senior level insurance broker job?
Employers at this level look for demonstrated ownership of large or complex accounts, not just participation in them. A strong candidate brings a portable book of business, deep carrier relationships, and evidence of mentoring junior brokers or leading a team through a significant renewal cycle. Licensing across multiple lines and a specialty in a high-demand vertical like excess and surplus or employee benefits sharpens your edge considerably.
Which companies hire senior level insurance brokers?
Companies hiring senior level insurance brokers right now include CVS Health, Aon, and TriNet, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Hiring at this level covers regional independents, national brokerages, and large carriers that maintain in-house brokerage units focused on complex commercial and specialty placements.
Are there remote senior level insurance broker jobs?
Yes, though availability varies by specialty and employer. About 20% of senior level insurance broker openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, with fully remote roles more common in account management and benefits consulting than in roles that require in-person client or carrier meetings. Hybrid arrangements are the most frequent setup at this level.
What makes an insurance broker role senior level?
Senior level insurance broker roles are defined by scope and accountability. You own the client relationship end to end, lead renewal strategy on complex or high-value accounts, and are expected to bring solutions rather than escalate problems. These roles also carry a mentoring or supervisory component, whether formal or informal, guiding junior brokers on coverage analysis, negotiation, and market access.
Which industries hire the most senior level insurance brokers?
Senior Level insurance broker roles concentrate in Healthcare & Medical Services, Insurance, and Banking & Financial Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Those sectors drive hiring at this level because their risk profiles, regulatory requirements, and account complexity demand brokers with the experience and carrier relationships to structure and negotiate sophisticated coverage programs.
