Entry Level IT Analyst Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level it analyst job?
Start by building hands-on experience through internships, coursework projects, or home lab work that demonstrates your ability to support systems and analyze data. A range of employers at this level actively recruits, from large enterprises building out IT support teams to government contractors, healthcare systems, and mid-size technology firms with structured onboarding programs for junior hires.
Are there remote entry level it analyst jobs?
Yes, though on-site roles still dominate at the entry level. About 24% of entry level it analyst openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, with hybrid positions being the most common flexible arrangement.
