ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
You’ll be joining a team that’s responsible for all the technical infrastructure within the business. You’ll work on the lowest level of Linux engineering, optimizing systems to work at the lowest latency. These systems connect to financial exchanges across the world, and you’ll be setting up and building the massive computing clusters that are used internally for quant research. Think of the power that Google needs to run their research, this is comfortably on a similar scale, if not even bigger.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Extensive experience in managing Linux systems at all levels, at a large scale.
- Python and Bash skills at almost software engineering levels.
- Any exposure to C++ and other programming languages would be a huge plus.
COMPENSATION
- Starting salary will be in the range of $200,000-250,000 but this isn’t set in stone.
- Bonuses can take your total compensation to 1 million and upwards.
