Job Description
Lead the transformation of Healthcare through Managed Services.

Our Managed Services platform brings together finance and accounting, revenue cycle, human capital, and operational capabilities, integrating people, process, and technology to improve efficiency, strengthen controls, and support long-term performance in a complex and evolving regulatory environment.
We are seeking a Solution Lead Managing Director, Healthcare Managed Services to play a key role in shaping and delivering complex outsourcing and transformation solutions. This individual will lead solution development efforts in support of business development, working closely with client executives and internal teams to design practical, scalable managed services offerings. This is a highly visible role for a leader who can translate client needs into actionable solutions that drive measurable operational and financial outcomes.
What You’ll Do
As a Managing Director, you will play a critical role in shaping solution strategy, supporting business development, and advancing Baker Tilly’s Healthcare Managed Services platform. You will partner across the firm to architect scalable, technology-enabled outsourcing solutions that meet client needs and drive measurable value.
Key responsibilities include:
Solution Strategy & Design
- Define the end-to-end solution lifecycle (intake discovery design financial modeling governance submission).
- Establish standardized templates and artifacts (scope documents, operating model frameworks, SLA libraries, pricing model structures).
- Lead the development of end-to-end Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and managed services solutions for prospective and existing healthcare clients.
- Design scalable operating models across finance and accounting, revenue cycle, customer operations, human resources, procurement, compliance, and healthcare-specific processes.
- Assess current-state client operations and define future-state operating models and transformation roadmaps.
- Establish governance frameworks, KPIs, SLAs, staffing models, transition plans, and service delivery structures to ensure operational excellence.
- Integrate automation, AI, analytics, workflow optimization, and digital enablement into solution designs to enhance efficiency and insight.
Business Development & Client Advisory
- Partner with practice leaders, sales teams, and client executives during pursuits, proposals, and solution workshops.
- Support RFP/RFI responses, pricing strategies, and development of differentiated solution narratives.
- Build compelling business cases demonstrating operational improvements, cost efficiencies, and strategic value.
- Act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert in client meetings, executive presentations, and deal shaping discussions.
Operational Transformation
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and operational excellence methodologies within solution design and client engagements.
- Collaborate with implementation, transition, and delivery teams to ensure seamless execution and long-term service optimization.
- Identify opportunities to standardize processes, increase scalability, and enhance the client and patient experience.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Work cross-functionally with Advisory, Tax, Digital, Audit, and Managed Services teams to bring integrated solutions to market.
- Mentor and guide consultants and analysts supporting solution development and pursuit activities.
- Contribute to practice development, thought leadership, and go-to-market strategies within Healthcare Managed Services.
- Support the evolution of Baker Tilly’s managed services platform through innovation, market insights, and industry engagement.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
- 12+ years of progressive experience in healthcare operations, consulting, or managed services.
- 10+ years of experience in solution architecture, business development, or practice leadership roles.
- Demonstrated expertise in designing BPO or managed services solutions across finance, revenue cycle, or administrative functions.
- Familiarity with healthcare systems and platforms (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Workday, Oracle, or other ERP/HCM/RPM tools).
- Experience incorporating automation, AI, analytics, and digital technologies into outsourcing solutions.
- Strong financial acumen, including pricing models, business case development, and deal structuring.
- Exceptional communication, executive presence, and client-facing skills.
- Willingness to travel as needed to support client engagements and firm growth.
- The pay rate range for this job position is $182,150 - $345,330. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of relevant factors including but not limited to applicant's skills, prior experience, qualifications, degrees, professional certifications, work arrangements, and geographic location.
