POSITION PURPOSE: The Marketing Specialist is a hands-on role supporting day-to-day marketing efforts in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This position plays a key role in executing events, coordinating across internal teams, and ensuring projects stay organized and on track from start to finish. Ideal candidates are highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn. A strong interest in marketing, storytelling, and event execution—along with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-paced environment—is essential.
Responsibilities:
Content Creation & Management:
- Develop, curate, and manage a diverse range of content, including short articles, social media updates, video scripts, and more
- Ensure all content aligns with brand voice, style, and messaging guidelines
Vendor & Creative Coordination Assistance:
- Help coordinate with creative vendors (photographers, designers, videographers) by managing schedules, gathering assets, and organizing feedback
- Support the creative request process, ensuring materials are collected, reviewed, and delivered on time
- Maintain organized files and asset libraries for easy team access
Event Coordination:
- Support event planning and execution, including logistics, timelines, and day-of coordination
- Coordinate with vendors and partners to ensure deliverables are on track
- Maintain organized calendars, event materials, and track basic performance metrics
Strategy & Development:
- Collaborate with the Director of Marketing to create and implement a comprehensive social media strategy
- Focus on engaging investors and other key stakeholders through compelling and informative content
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in content marketing and social media
- Research new content formats and marketing tactics to enhance overall strategy effectiveness
Brand Promotion & Reputation Management:
- Actively promote the company's brand, values, and initiatives across all social channels
- Monitor online conversations and respond promptly to any issues, ensuring positive brand perception
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in content marketing, social media management, or a related field
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Proficiency in using social media platforms and analytics tools
