Marketing Communications Manager Jobs in Seattle: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a marketing communications manager job in Seattle?
Target Seattle's technology corridor in South Lake Union, the biotech cluster around Eastlake, and retail and consumer brand headquarters near downtown and the Denny Triangle. Employers here respond strongly to candidates with integrated campaign experience, internal communications chops, or a background in product marketing. Familiarity with the Pacific Northwest media market and agency relationships common to Seattle gives applicants a genuine edge over generalist candidates.
Which companies hire marketing communications managers in Seattle?
Employers hiring marketing communications managers in Seattle right now include Amazon, Amazon Web Services, and Google, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Seattle's market is driven by a mix of global technology companies, regional retail and consumer brands, health systems, and mid-size software firms, all of which maintain in-house communications teams.
Are there remote marketing communications manager jobs in Seattle?
Yes, marketing communications manager work is well suited to remote and hybrid arrangements because most core duties, including copywriting, campaign planning, and media coordination, are desk-based. About 38% of marketing communications manager openings tied to Seattle are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, reflecting how deeply flexible work is embedded in the local technology and software sector. Content production and media relations tasks are the functions most commonly performed fully remotely.
How can I get a marketing communications manager job in Seattle with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Seattle is a communications coordinator or marketing specialist role inside a mid-size technology or healthcare company, where small teams give junior staff broad exposure quickly. Seattle nonprofits, local agencies, and the University of Washington communications department are strong places to build a portfolio. Hands-on experience with content management systems and event communications specific to Seattle's convention and tech-conference calendar makes entry-level candidates more competitive.
