Entry Level Marketing Manager Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level marketing manager job?
Entry level marketing manager roles typically look for candidates who can show hands-on work, whether through internships, class projects, or a self-built portfolio. Demonstrating familiarity with social media platforms, email marketing tools, or basic analytics gives you a real edge. Tailoring your resume to each posting and highlighting measurable results, even from small projects, helps you stand out at this stage.
Which companies hire entry level marketing managers?
Companies hiring entry level marketing managers right now include Sinclair Broadcast, Amazon, and Leaf Home, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Startups, mid-size consumer brands, and agency groups tend to hire most actively at this level, since they value fresh ideas and are often willing to invest in developing early-career talent.
Are there remote entry level marketing manager jobs?
Yes, though remote availability varies by employer and industry. About 21% of entry level marketing manager openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, so candidates who prefer flexible arrangements still have solid options. Searching by work setting on Migrate Mate lets you filter to the format that fits your situation.
Are these new grad marketing manager jobs?
Yes, many of these openings are new grad and junior roles that welcome recent graduates with little or no professional experience. A new grad-friendly posting typically accepts zero to two years of experience, counts internships toward the requirement, or explicitly invites a portfolio in place of a long work history. If a listing welcomes new grad applicants or entry level candidates, it belongs in this category.
Which industries hire the most entry level marketing managers?
Entry Level marketing manager roles concentrate in Technology & Software, Education, and Retail, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. These sectors hire at this level because they run high volumes of campaigns, need fresh perspectives on digital and social channels, and tend to grow marketing teams quickly as the business scales.
