Clean Label Gourmet Foods (CLGF) is seeking an experienced Senior Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our food manufacturing facility in Halethorpe, Maryland.
This is a hands-on industrial maintenance position responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a diverse range of automated food-processing, packaging, filling, and high-pressure processing equipment.
Our equipment includes Multivac packaging systems, Hiperbaric and Avure HPP systems, Taisei packaging equipment, hot- and cold-fill bottling lines, Unifillers, conveyors, pumps, vacuum systems, motors, gearboxes, VFDs, pneumatics, metal detectors, coding systems, sensors, and PLC-controlled machinery.
We are looking for an experienced electro-mechanical technician who is equally comfortable troubleshooting electrical and controls problems as well as mechanical, pneumatic, and equipment-related failures. The successful candidate should be able to approach a machine failure systematically, determine the root cause, make the appropriate repair, and help prevent the problem from recurring.
This position works directly with operating production equipment and requires a technician who is comfortable taking ownership of equipment reliability, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and production support.
Our food-production areas operate in a refrigerated/cold-room environment, and the technician must be comfortable performing troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance under these conditions.
This is not a building or facilities maintenance position. We are specifically seeking someone with strong industrial machinery and automated production-equipment experience.
Work Environment: This position works primarily in a refrigerated food-production facility. Technicians must be comfortable performing troubleshooting, repairs, preventive maintenance, and equipment changeovers in cold-room conditions and in wet/sanitary processing environments. Appropriate PPE is required.
Schedule: Full-time, 6:00 AM–3:00 PM Monday through Friday NO ROTATION

Compensation: $34.00–$38.00 per hour, based on demonstrated experience and technical capability
Required Skills
- Advanced electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills in an industrial manufacturing environment
- Strong electrical troubleshooting experience with 24 VDC, 120 VAC, 208/240 VAC, and 480 VAC three-phase systems
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control drawings
- Strong working knowledge of PLCs, including troubleshooting inputs, outputs, interlocks, sensors, and machine faults
- Experience troubleshooting VFDs, motors, servo drives, encoders, relays, contactors, and motor controls
- Ability to diagnose and replace photo eyes, proximity sensors, limit switches, temperature sensors, pressure sensors, and other industrial instrumentation
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills involving motors, gearboxes, bearings, shafts, couplings, chains, sprockets, belts, rollers, and conveyor systems
- Strong understanding of pneumatic systems, including cylinders, solenoid valves, regulators, manifolds, and controls
- Experience troubleshooting vacuum pumps and vacuum systems
- Experience with pumps, product-transfer systems, filling equipment, and automated production machinery
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair automated packaging equipment
- Experience with heat-sealing systems, temperature controls, indexing systems, sensors, and automated machine controls
- Ability to troubleshoot bottling, filling, capping, conveying, and product-handling equipment
- Strong preventive maintenance and equipment-inspection skills
- Ability to systematically identify the root cause of equipment failures rather than simply replacing parts
