Part-Time Social Media Brand Manager

About the Role

I am looking for a part-time Social Media Brand Manager to help grow and manage a personal brand focused on ALS awareness, Neuralink/brain-computer interface technology, disability advocacy, and the future of independence through innovation.

This role is ideal for someone who understands storytelling, social media growth, personal branding, and how to handle meaningful, sensitive topics with care. The goal is not just to post content, but to help build a strong, inspiring, and authentic online presence across platforms.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage a weekly content calendar
• Write captions and posts for X, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube
• Help turn real-life updates, videos, photos, and ideas into engaging social content
• Maintain a consistent brand voice that is inspiring, authentic, hopeful, and future-focused
• Suggest content ideas, hooks, short-form video concepts, and post formats
• Help schedule and publish posts across platforms
• Track basic analytics and recommend improvements based on performance
• Help identify trends, relevant hashtags, and engagement opportunities
• Assist with community engagement, replies, and message strategy when needed
• Repurpose long-form stories into short posts, reels, captions, and threads
• Help grow awareness around ALS, accessibility, assistive technology, and Neuralink-related milestones

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is creative, organized, reliable, and thoughtful. You should be able to understand the importance of the story while also knowing how to make content perform well online.

Experience with personal brands, creators, advocacy, health-related content, disability-related content, technology, or nonprofit-style storytelling is a plus.

Requirements

• Experience managing or growing social media accounts
• Strong writing skills, especially for captions, hooks, and short-form storytelling
• Familiarity with X, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube
• Ability to create or organize content calendars
• Basic understanding of social media analytics
• Comfortable working with sensitive personal topics in a respectful way
• Reliable communication and follow-through
• Ability to match an existing voice and tone
• Basic Canva, CapCut, Metricool, Vista Social, Buffer, or similar tool experience is a plus

Hours and Pay

This is a part-time contract role.

Expected hours: 5–10 hours per week
Pay range: $40–$60 per hour depending on experience

For someone with strong personal brand, creator growth, or campaign strategy experience, higher compensation may be considered.
