Medical Assistant Jobs in Bellevue: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a medical assistant job in Bellevue?
Focus on Bellevue's dense concentration of multi-specialty clinics, urgent care centers, and the major health systems anchored along the Bellevue Medical Mile. Candidates who hold a nationally recognized certification such as CMA or RMA, and who have experience with electronic health records used widely in the region, stand out. Familiarity with Eastside patient demographics and bilingual skills are a genuine edge in this market.
Which companies hire medical assistants in Bellevue?
Companies currently hiring medical assistants in Bellevue include Kaiser Permanente, Ivy Fertility, and Allegro Pediatrics, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Bellevue's employer mix leans toward large integrated health systems, independent specialty practices, and employer-sponsored clinic networks tied to the city's major corporate campuses.
Are there remote medical assistant jobs in Bellevue?
Yes, though remote options are limited for this role since most medical assistant duties require direct patient contact and on-site clinical work. About 0% of medical assistant openings tied to Bellevue are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, concentrated in telehealth coordination, prior authorization, and remote patient monitoring positions. Bellevue's tech-connected health systems have expanded these desk-based roles more than smaller markets.
How can I get a medical assistant job in Bellevue with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Bellevue is through externship programs offered by Eastside community colleges, which maintain direct relationships with local clinics and health systems. Large multi-specialty groups and urgent care chains in the Overlake and Crossroads areas regularly hire recent graduates and candidates completing their first externship. Front-office and patient services roles at Bellevue's ambulatory care centers also serve as a strong lateral entry point into clinical positions.
