Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM Technical Consultant to design, develop, customize, integrate, and support Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) / CRM solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise across the Dynamics 365 ecosystem, with hands-on experience in customization, configuration, integrations, development, and deployment. The consultant will work closely with functional consultants, solution architects, business stakeholders, and development teams to deliver scalable and high-quality CRM solutions aligned with business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, customize, and implement solutions on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE).
- Develop and configure Dynamics 365 modules including Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, and Marketing/Customer Insights.
- Develop custom solutions using C#, .NET, JavaScript, TypeScript, Power Platform, and Dataverse.
- Configure and customize entities/tables, forms, views, business rules, workflows, business process flows, dashboards, and security roles.
- Develop and maintain plugins, custom workflow activities, custom APIs, actions, and server-side extensions.
- Build client-side customizations using JavaScript/TypeScript and the Dynamics 365 Client API.
- Develop Power Automate flows and Power Platform solutions to automate business processes.
- Design and implement integrations between Dynamics 365 and external applications using REST APIs, OData, Dataverse APIs, Azure services, and middleware.
- Work with Microsoft Azure services for integration, event-driven architecture, and application development.
- Develop and consume Web APIs and custom services for Dynamics 365 integrations.
- Perform data migration, transformation, and data-quality activities using appropriate Dynamics 365 and Azure tools.
- Implement application lifecycle management (ALM) using Power Platform Solutions, Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Troubleshoot performance, integration, security, and application issues.
- Conduct code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and technical documentation.
- Participate in technical design sessions and contribute to solution architecture decisions.
- Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior developers/consultants.
- Support production deployments, releases, and post-production issues.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE / CRM.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dataverse and the Dynamics 365 extensibility model.
- Proficiency in C#, .NET, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Experience developing Dynamics 365 Plugins, Custom APIs, Workflows, Actions, and custom business logic.
- Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 forms, views, business rules, business process flows, security roles, and solution management.
- Experience with Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Experience with Dataverse Web API, REST APIs, OData, and Dynamics 365 integrations.
- Experience with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, API Management, or similar Azure integration technologies.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD, and Dynamics 365 ALM.
- Strong SQL/database fundamentals and experience working with relational data.
- Experience with Dynamics 365 data migration and integration tools.
