What We’re Looking For:
- ARRT (R)(MR) or (MR) certification (registered within 6 months of hire)
- Prior acute care experience preferred
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Education:2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred.
- Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program or MR Program, required.
- Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in MR, preferred.

Licensure/Certification: NH Medical Center-Certified and registered by ARRT in MR - RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR) within 6 months of hire, required.
- Applicable state license, required.
- Refer to the Life Support Training Policy NH-HR-3096 for life support training requirement, required.
- Additional Skills (required): Thorough knowledge of MRI imaging equipment, Analytical ability and basic computer skills. Has the ability to interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs. Good communication skills.
The MRI Technologist II Acute will assist physicians in the performance of diagnostic and / or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and safely operating the MR equipment to obtain diagnostic scans in the acute setting. The acute technologist is responsible for inpatient, outpatient, the emergency department & the operating room procedures to include trauma imaging or specialized imaging for patients with implants. The technologist must possess the skills and competencies necessary to work effectively across a variety of clinical settings and is expected to either regularly work in, or rotate through, an acute care facility as part of their ongoing responsibilities.
