JOB DESCRIPTION
Qualified candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) with Special Qualification in Child Neurology and be eligible for medical licensure in South Carolina.
The Division of Pediatric Neurology currently includes seven faculty members and four advanced practice providers (APPs) and offers a full spectrum of inpatient and outpatient clinical services at MUSC Children’s Hospital. MUSC’s Comprehensive Epilepsy Center is designated as a Level IV epilepsy center, the highest designation awarded by the National Association of Epilepsy Centers - providing multidisciplinary diagnostic and treatment services for patients ranging from infancy through young adulthood. Adult patients receive care through MUSC Hospital.
The MUSC Neurophysiology Lab features a comprehensive suite of accredited services, including EEG, EMG, intraoperative monitoring, and intracranial and extracranial vascular imaging, all integrated within the Level IV Epilepsy Center. Additional specialty services include speech-language pathology and neuropsychology, along with advanced diagnostic capabilities such as inpatient and outpatient video EEG monitoring.
