Entry Level Network Architect Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level network architect job?
Entry level network architect employers look for candidates who can demonstrate hands-on skills, even without years of professional experience. A home lab, a capstone project, or an internship showing you can configure routers, design VLANs, or troubleshoot connectivity gives you a real edge. Certifications like CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or a related degree help hiring managers see you as job-ready from day one.
Which companies hire entry level network architects?
Companies hiring entry level network architects right now include HCLTech, LTIMindtree, and Saransh, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. At this level, hiring comes from a broad mix of enterprise technology firms, managed service providers, government contractors, and large enterprises building or expanding their network infrastructure teams.
Are there remote entry level network architect jobs?
Yes, though on-site roles are still common at this career stage given the hands-on nature of network work. About 20% of entry level network architect openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, so candidates who prefer schedule flexibility have real options worth searching alongside traditional on-site postings.
Are these new grad network architect jobs?
Yes, the openings here include new grad, recent graduate, and junior network architect roles alongside other entry level postings. A listing that welcomes zero to two years of experience, accepts internship or academic project work, or explicitly mentions junior candidates is a strong signal it is new-grad friendly. A portfolio demonstrating practical network design or lab work strengthens any application at this stage.
Which industries hire the most entry level network architects?
Entry Level network architect roles concentrate in Technology & Software, Telecommunications, and Consulting & Professional Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. These sectors drive hiring at this level because they are actively building and modernizing network infrastructure, creating openings for candidates who bring fresh technical skills and certifications rather than years of experience.
