We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic CCIE Certified Network Architect and Network Designer to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of complex network infrastructures. Duties
- Lead the design and development of comprehensive network architectures, integrating advanced routing protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, MPLS, and SD-WAN implementations to optimize connectivity and performance.
- Develop detailed system designs for LAN, WAN, data center, and cloud-based networks utilizing Cisco Nexus, Cisco routers/switches, VMware, AWS, Azure, and other virtualization technologies.
- Implement and configure network security solutions including Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine), Cisco ASA firewalls, VPNs, firewalls, and advanced threat mitigation strategies to safeguard organizational data.
- Oversee the deployment of network infrastructure components such as DNS, DHCP, load balancers, QoS policies, SAN storage systems, Meraki devices, and network management tools for seamless operations.
- Conduct technical troubleshooting support across complex systems involving TCP/IP protocols, IPsec VPNs, system design issues, network monitoring tools, scripting (Python/JavaScript), automation frameworks (DevOps/CI/CD), and system integration challenges.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) projects to ensure reliable deployment of new network features while maintaining operational stability.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies like software-defined networking (SDN), network automation tools, and multi-cloud environments to continually enhance infrastructure resilience.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) in Routing & Switching or Service Provider tracks is required; additional certifications such as Juniper or AWS are advantageous.
- Extensive experience designing and implementing enterprise-grade networks with proficiency in Cisco IOS/XE/Nexus platforms; Juniper experience is a plus.
- Deep knowledge of computer science principles related to computer networking, operating systems (Linux/Windows), network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP), routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP), BGP/MPLS VPNs, QoS policies and network security measures.
- Proven expertise in deploying SD-WAN solutions, virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V), cloud services (AWS/Azure), scripting languages (Python/JavaScript), and automation frameworks for infrastructure management.
- Strong understanding of information security practices including firewall configuration (Cisco ASA), VPN setup (IPsec/VPN), intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and compliance standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues efficiently while providing technical support across diverse systems.
- Effective communicator capable of translating technical concepts into clear documentation; experienced in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on large-scale projects.
