Network Coordinator Jobs in Delaware: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a network coordinator in Delaware?
Most network coordinator roles in Delaware require a bachelor's degree in health administration, business, or public administration, though some healthcare employers also accept candidates with an associate degree and relevant clinical or administrative experience. Delaware does not require a state-issued license specific to this role, but working in healthcare network management often means gaining familiarity with insurance credentialing standards and managed care regulations. Certifications from the American Association of Managed Care Nurses or healthcare administration programs strengthen candidacy.
Which companies hire network coordinators in Delaware?
Delaware network coordinator roles are posted by CVS Health, JPMorganChase, and Qnity and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Delaware's concentration of large health systems, financial institutions, and state agencies means demand for network coordinators is spread across both the private and public sectors.
Which Delaware cities have the most network coordinator jobs?
Wilmington, Dover, and Delaware are the cities with the most network coordinator openings in Delaware. Wilmington leads because it anchors Delaware's healthcare and financial services industries, while Dover draws openings from state government agencies and regional health networks, and Newark benefits from its proximity to ChristianaCare and University of Delaware-affiliated employers.
Are there remote network coordinator jobs in Delaware?
Yes, though they are less common than in purely analytical or tech roles, since network coordinators frequently work with provider offices, community partners, and internal teams in person. About 50% of network coordinator openings tied to Delaware are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting a mix of employers who have moved administrative coordination tasks online. The parts of the role most likely to be remote include data reporting, credentialing follow-up, and internal communications.
How can I get hired as a network coordinator in Delaware with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is through administrative or care coordination roles at Delaware's large health systems, particularly ChristianaCare and Bayhealth, which regularly bring on candidates for patient services representative and referral coordinator positions that build directly transferable skills. Candidates from adjacent roles such as medical billing specialist, insurance authorizations coordinator, or community health worker often move laterally into network coordinator openings. Completing a health information management certificate or gaining experience with credentialing software adds a competitive edge with Delaware healthcare employers.
