The ideal candidate will have strong clinical assessment and patient management skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively with our physicians and clinical staff. Previous primary care or internal medicine experience is preferred, and bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly preferred. Gastroenterology experience is a plus but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with gastrointestinal conditions.
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and provide follow-up care.
Educate patients on treatment plans, preventive care, and digestive health.
Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
Qualifications:
Active Nevada Nurse Practitioner license.
Previous clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
Strong clinical judgment, organizational skills, and patient-centered approach.
Primary care, internal medicine, or gastroenterology experience preferred.
English/Spanish bilingual skills highly preferred.
