We are seeking caring, dependable, and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to provide non-medical home care services to clients in the comfort of their homes. Job SummaryThe CNA/PCA provides compassionate non-medical support and personal care assistance to elderly and disabled clients in their homes. Caregivers assist clients with daily living activities while promoting dignity, comfort, safety, and independence.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Bathing
- Grooming
- Dressing
- Toileting
- Mobility assistance
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Prepare light meals and assist with feeding if needed
- Perform light housekeeping duties
- Laundry
- Dishwashing
- Tidying client areas
- Remind clients to take medications (no administration)
- Accompany clients to appointments or errands if required
- Monitor and report changes in client condition to supervisor
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification preferred but not required for PCA applicants
- High school diploma or GED
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license preferred
- Ability to pass background check
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
